Default $100,000 or ability to gamble?

Say you were giving the choice between receiving $100,000 with the conditon that you can never gamble on anything for any amount of money or prizes for the rest of your life. No march madness office pools, no offshore bets, no BTP, nadda!

Do you take the $100,000 or do you have to have the action?

It is probably one of the most expensive places to live in Ca. A million doesn't get you anything nice and for that price no yard. Santa Barbara is very nice usually t-shirt and shorts all year round. I am a high end vintage psa and sgc dealer but the majority of my income comes from the music industry that i am involved with.

I gotta have the action. If I took the money, the first thing Id want to do is go to Vegas, and knowing I couldnt would be too much. I gotta go with the action.

i dont gamble too much as it is but i def love it. I would keep the gambling though for the fact that it included office pools.

I dont gamble often, but i love doing it. I dont have an addiction to the action, just the sport of it. So id have to declined the money.

love the action, but the way my sports betting is going i would probably have to take the $100 000.

Anyone taking the money to gamble is a compulsive gambler

yes but not for money or prizes of any kind

only for those little plastic chips that you have to turn back in at the end

you can also fill out a NCAA bracket to follow but cannot be involved in any kind of pool where money or prizes are involved

I tend to think that the people that would take the money make very little money in whatever job they do. A 100k is not a lot of money.

I'd actually go for $1k to spend on the night w/ Swede & the rest of it to gamble with. The way I see it if I'm gonna have a night w/ Swede we might as well live it up.

I could use 100k right now but I don't see that being a big enough figure to stop me from doing something I want to do.

No poker for money then I would have to turn down the cash.....The weekend games and tourneys as well as cash games are too fun....on top of that, I would not be able to visit the funiest cities in the world....What am I going to do, go to vegas and watch a show??????????

    No brainer, keep on betting.

100K is only two-years salary for most people, and I could probably make more than that betting over two years.
