Default Are they insane at 5Dimes? San Diego +6.5

Get it now with both feet in. Bet the farm, dowry, inheritance, 401k, whatever you have.

I don't know. I was very impressed with Western Kentucky today, and I felt they totally outplayed Drake. Conversely, I though UCONN gave San Diego a lot of help.

I have seen WK play. They can't play against good defensive teams like San Diego. San Diego beat Gonzaga and Gonzaga beat WK. I think 6.5 points is too much to cover.

Whats the history of teams coming off dramatic victories such as these two teams? They could be sky high! Or burnt out from such an intense effort!

That's a tough question. It depends if the coaches imposed any curfews for the players tonight. If they let the sororities entertain the players as a gift for their wins then maybe their knees will be emptied and will be burned out for Sunday.

He is fine. Nothing serious, just a small sprain that will be healed by game time with a painkiller shot.

Line is already down to 5.5 at 5Dimes. Sharps are punishing book's stupidity.

San Diego has had several of these in a row...they are not a team that should even be in the discussion of the final 32 teams...I think WK is the play here they are the better team...SD just can't keep this up...

Who did WK beat all season? Nobody. Gyno Pomade is a beast under the boards and will push his way around with the skinny boys of WK. He made that UConn giant today look like a fool.

Uconn would have won if their star player didnt get hurt in the first half

yeah the way i see it, the spread is set about right in this one, WK is a serious team, very solid for a 12 seed and you could see it on the faces of the san diego kids in the last few minutes of the uconn game, they are on the verge of running out of gas

Any thoughts on the total? Off the top of my head I think under would be the play. Tired legs= lower shooting%

Nine straight covers for SD as a dog or pick. W Ken was a fav in every conf game except one (poor competition). Like the Torreros to move on but took (+5.5) for insurance.

These teams seem pretty similar. Plus they'll both be coming off dramatic OT victories. I'd take the points against whoever is laying them.

I agree and wasnt' AJ Price out at the 10 min mark in the first half when he tore he ACL. I think that had to play a big part in this game.

Also the fact that Uconn players were not responding to the coaching there coach was giving them. It was obvious they failed to make adjustments and listen.

Take the dog and you should hang in there but game pace has to be a bit slower for the cover

San Diego hasnt seen a team like Western Kentucky though I dont think. A lot of offensive weapons for the Toppers!

maybe they don't play quite as fast but come on Gonzaga and St. Marys are much better than Western Kentucky

WCC really really weak conference....and SD finsihed 3rd in it. Be careful taking San Diego. This line is about right, thought it might come a little higher but the low number might be correcting for public perception.

Two words: Bill Grier. That's what has me leaning USD. Heckuva coach.

I'd be interested, though, in hearing what Mofome thinks on this one. I think Mo's the one that called Western Kentucky's performance against Drake.

FWIW, this is from the From San Diego Union Tribune:

Both Brandon Johnson and Jackson, who appeared to incur minor injuries at the end of the UConn game, said they're fine.

“I was just cramping up real bad and I kind of sprained my ankle,” Johnson said. “But overall, this opportunity comes once in a lifetime, so I've got to take advantage of it. When the ball goes up, all injury is out the window.”

WCC is much better than the Hillbilly conference the Hilltoppers play. You can't be shooting 35 ft 3's and winning at the buzzard all the time.

The only reason pavy posts is so you can bet the other way and win 12-team parlays, just a note to any1 betting his picks in the future.
