Default [3.21.08] ChuteBoxe's CRAZY NBA plan (50 Unit Play)

Some of my friends here knew this was coming last night. I made a 50 Unit play this morning. This year in the NBA has been extremely stressful to me and I truly feel I have been playing with pennies and all the aggrivation hasn't been worth it. I have not been as confident in my abilites to cap the NBA like I am confident with the NFL(+85 Units) and MLB(+42 Units), so my unit size has been 1/10 of those 2 sports, and obviously the number of plays has been WAY higher. $100 is my typical NBA unit size.

If for any reason I lose tonight, I will follow it up this weekend or early next week with a 100 unit play($10,000), and if I lose that, the NBA season is over for me, and onto baseball. Wish me luck, call me stupid, praise me, berate me, the choice is yours. This is what I did, and there's no way to get the money back. Btw, yes I know, it's road chalk...

    Nuggets (-3.5 @ -110) for 50 NBA Units ($5,000)

Let's cash this bud...I am seeing -5 now so any of us who placed this morning got a good number. Good luck Chute.

Yeah, I knew that was going to happen. That's why I made sure to put it in this morning. When we were talking last night, 94% of the public was pounding the overnight line.

I noticed that last night so I made sure to get up early to place my bets.

    That is the best method.

Why would you post it now when the line is -5?

    Wow, good luck bro.

This is a ballsy plan, but if you can deal with the worst possible outcome should you go 0-2 then there's no reason you can't roll the dice here. I'll be pulling for you, I was looking at Denver 1st half.

Straight up, Denver is 12-21 on the road... NJ is 18-17 at home

    Chutebox this is terrible man...

"If for any reason I lose tonight, I will follow it up this weekend or early next week with a 100 unit play($10,000), and if I lose that,"

you don't need to make a 5,000 wager let alone a 10,000 wager... It's way too much and it's what compulsive gamblers do on tilt...

Goodluck Chutebox. I did this a while back when I was starting sports betting and I dont want to do it again, but I lost mine. It was a pretty stressfull day, but one hell of a game to watch. I was complaining about every mistake that came against the Den Nuggets last year vs the New Jersey Nets. It wont leave your mind for a while.

I would not recommend this as it's not a smart move. It's BAD MM and is against your bankroll. There really isnt anything smart about doing what your doing. Your letting the house chose now. You've brought emotion into gambling which doesnt win in the long run.

Either way good luck man, hopefully you bag one and get out alive.

It's ballsy but I just don't see much value in it. I think Den is the better team but -4 or -5 is too much to lay on a bad defensive teams on a road game against R Jefferson and Vinsanity! GL though

Yup, 100% correct. I orginally put it in Best Bets (10 Unit limit over there), and I posted it in Dio's thread saying I was going to do this. I had errands to run today for my job, and wasn't able to get on the computer until the time I posted. I would've taken it at -5 also for what it's worth, but I'm happy I still got the -3.5 at 10:00 this morning when I called.

Just got back from the bar. Didn't get loaded, but it was a good time. Thanks again to Dio and everyone else that backed me up. I just want to say to anyone else, especially the newbies, that I had the resources to do this from other sports. I would never advise anyone to do this unless you have a decent roll. Plus, If I lost both plays, I could have honestly walked away from the NBA for the year, it wouldn't have bothered me. I also wanted to add, I was extremely confident in all of this, probably more than it showed on the boards, because I never want to come across as cocky. I'm a humble person. I guess martial arts, and my pops, sortof taught me that. Anyways, congrats to anyone that followed and cashed.

Definitely happy for you bro, I don't really 'root' for other posters all that much but you're one guy I was pulling for.

    Enjoy the coin!
