Default Are there any fishermen here at SBR?

Do you consider fishing a sport?

I like to fish atleast once a week. I live on the southern Chesapeake Bay and we can fish nearly all year round....it rarely gets to cold to be on the water and you can load up on some many different species it never get boring!!

    I love to fish...MAY'N!!

I like to go trout fishing here in the lower Adirondacks of NYS, we have some nice spots... if I don`t catch a fish, I catch a buzz. BTW, that is some serious snapper pictured above. I`d eat that!

Tony, this girl is quite decadent indeed. But she does not come close to Mrs. Montana! How is your wonderful wife doing these days? Does she post at all anymore?

If it is consider a sports?, indeed it is and one of the finest I will say. Started at around 8 years old and by 14 got a job as a boat crew member at a world recognize lodge here at CR, 3 summer breaks in a row with this job. Learn a lot and had a lot of fun plus meeting pro fishermen was a big plus. Like Bass as well but give a blue marlin or a roster and it will be a day in paradise.

Any one coming down to CR let me know and I hook you all up.

We call the stripers here as you most likely know. They taste so good. I like blues as well. Every now and then a tiderunner, aka weakie, aka speckled trout.

the blues here have been small inshore for almost 20 yrs now...we used to get some big boys.....but we catch some monster speckle in all of the inlets and some really nice redfish too...damn I love this time of year!!!

Lots of out door music festivals. They get a big draw. Minn is big on
Summer and Ice fishing. I do both and have a great time getting into
the outdoor life. Nice to see pictures of you and the wife. Still wondering
    who got the better deal.

The biggest weakie I caught was about 13 lbs on a high/low clam rig from the beach in June. I live in PA so I try to follow the fishing report. It just sucks when you drive down and nothing happens. The next day when you are gone, blitzes all over the place.
