if you can find a good line each game, then the more you bet, the more you will make.. gambling is all about volume.. the more volume you bet, the more you make.. that is assuming you are getting good lines.. if you are laying -110 and not shopping around, then i pray to GOD you are betting 1 game a week..not the board..

a good day for me is on a sat aft and i have 3 pages of bets.. total of 121 bets.. my record is 153 bets in 1 day set back in 2004 on a Sat in novemer...

if you are shopping around and getting good lines, then i suggest you bet as many games as possible, cause the more volume you give, the bigger your return..

Don't need to necessarily pick winners if your getting good lines on all bets. Spreads are quite accurate. (i think this is why anyway).

here's a perfect example..this will answer your question.

Lets say you find a good line and on that game, you have a 2% advantage..

so you bet 100$ on it.. in long run, you make 2$ on that game.. now you bet 5 games only a day on this.. you make 10$/day profit OR 300/month profit. (that's in the long run)

now lets say i bet 40 games like this a day.. i'd make 2$ a game profit.. X 40 games, or 80$ a day.. OR 2400$/month profit..

this is just an example.. i'd make 2400/mo to your 300/mo cause i bet way more games than you.

btw, this is of course assuming you are beating the closing line..if not, then you are dead betting all those games..

the more volume you bet, the more you make.. assuming you are getting good lines of course.

No, you want to bet the side before line movement actually happens. You are basically fading the sharps money if you do this.

Like the white sox yesterday...opened at -150....dropped to -133, then back up to -150ish.

If you got the -133, thats where it's at.

But it still doesn't matter, because in the long run you have to pick the winner, in order to make money...Thats why I don't understand that he's saying it doesn't matter if you always pick the best line, because you won't make 2 bucks if that game loses.
