Default How do you deal w/ your team losing in the NCAA's?

Im talking to the die hard fans out there.

    I've been in tears before.

I remember a few years back when Butler knocked us out hitting all those threes, in Reece Gaines final game. He kept us in that game the hole time. I was in Florida watching it at the Rain Forest Cafe on my senior trip. I was the only one who cared about the game and was by myself. The guy almost threw me out of there a couple of times.

Last season watching Edgar Sosa almost carry us over Acie Law and company, was rough but not as bad.

I also was at the game a few years back against UNC when DeJuan Wheat played w/ one wrist and still almost beat Shammond Williams and them.

We also missed a Lay up against Tim Duncan's Wake Forest team to go to the Final Four a while back.

At first you could careless about watching the rest of the tournament,

Just wanted to see how you guys handled it, because only one group of fans are going to be happy at the end. And that leaves alot of upset fans.

    Ill bet you right now,

    Louisville goes further than Tennesse,

Loser uses the winner's team logo for the rest of the tournament.

Tim Duncan didn't make the final 4, he fell a game short, so I think you are off by a game.

Let's see....when I realized my team was officially out of the NCAA tournament, I went to a safe place in the house cause there were tornados.

It just sucked being a Bama fan in basketball this year.

What was hilarious was the reaction from Whorns fans. They're so used to cheating from their SWAC days that they just assumed CU cheated to get him. Then there's that small fact that Texas fans have painful memories of Chris Brown and Bobby Purify running all over them in the 2001 Big 12 Championship. Buffs are back.

buffs are back? youre joking right? scott isnt going to single handedly win them games...maybe they assumed his family had a big impact in his decision which seems to be the case? those turds will be lucky to hit .500 next year

I'm disappointed when my Aggies lose any game, but reaching the NCAA Tournament is still sort of a new deal for us after not having any basketball team to speak of for so long. But I deal with losses by Texas A&M the same, whether it's on the gridiron in September or the hardwood in March, and that is I'm not about to let some 50-year-old coach and a bunch of 20-year-old kids dictate whether or not I'm going to enjoy the rest of my day.

Not joking at all. They had a great recruiting class and have a ton of talent returning, especially on the offensive side of the ball. That includes a QB who started as a freshman last year, their 3 best WRs from last year as well as a redshirt freshman who is supposedly the best of them all, an offensive line that returns a freshman all-American and another that started as a true freshman last year as well as others. Add in Scott, Polk and Lockridge in the backfield and you have a young, explosive offense. On defense, the loss of Wheatley and Dizon will hurt but Sipili is back after being suspended and there are a ton of highly rated LBs coming in this year. The entire defensive line returns, including George Hypolite who was all-Big 12. The secondary will be the only real weakness, but there are solid returning players there, too.

As for family, Whorns fans claimed Scott's mom was given a 100k/year bank job and demanded that their school president call the CU president and report the "cheating". This was especially funny considering Scott's O-coordinator from HS was giving half-hourly reports to Orangebloods.com and was really leaning on Scott to go to Texas. He was later fired by the HS.

their road schedule might kill them next year...@ fsu, @ kansas, @mizzou, @a&m with home games against wvu, texas, k st, and ok st...i just dont seem them being an above .500 team...you hype up their d but they gave up 30 points a game last year...yes they had a solid recruiting class this year but with the beef of their schedule all coming pretty much before the half way mark of the season that wont mean much...i say your buffs have 5 MAYBE 6 wins next year

every school "cheats"...im sure both the coach and the mom got something out of the entire process

It is a tough schedule. WVU is a home game on a Thursday night though, which is known to have extra HFA. That also gives them 9 days to prepare for FSU.

true and true...no way they beat WVU and i cant see them taking out FSU @ FSU...

    1. Home game early in the year on a Thursday night, with a new WVU coach.

    2. Devine's legal status is uncertain at the moment.

    3. FSU game is in Jacksonville which may help negate HFA.

It's been real easy the last two years. Syracuse sucks and hasn't made it, so I deal with it by drinking beer during the Big East tournament and shaking my head when they lose to a Villanova team that pretty much took their spot because they hammered 'em.
