Ok, I was wondering why you kept sending me crazy ass links.

If my anti-virus can't recover for me, I usually format C:.

You need to know what virus you got, what it's called. Then google it and you'll get tons of solutions.

When you get it cleaned up Mofo, slap a anti-virus and anti-spyware program on your system. It also could be some type of spyware. And keep them up to date. My anti-virus (NOD32) updates the signature files everyday.

Be careful with this, it can really screw up your registry and programs that you have installed since your last system restore point.

Maybe. I don't know. But to get the virus name, first thing you need to do is open up your Task Manager and check the processes. If it's there, then you got your name. Just check every process name here: http://www.liutilities.com/products/...rocesslibrary/

    It's really not that hard.

I agree, might be worth checking out before a clean install. Cool site Arnold, thanks.

Mo, change your msn password and that part will be solved. AVG should work, but if not let us know. I have had some of these problems in the past. Viruses suck. Good luck buddy.

Good suggestion Chandler, AVG is great and best of all FREE. I also have a free firewall called Comodo which is quality too.
