The Committee Always Screws Up
UNC is overall #1, but has Tenn and Ville in as the #2 and #3 in their bracket. Midwest is a joke with their fraudulent #3 and #4 seeds, but that's typical as the Big 12 always gets passes.
UCLA and Kansas have the easiest roads, but both should fall to the Big East Teams in their brackets.

tn 2 and 3 is tough. both teams are better than duke.

The selection committee has made it clear that they're willing to seed lower in order to keep teams closer to home. Duke was the notable exception this year with the Georgetown scheduling conflict. Many felt that Tennessee was the #5 overall team (and certainly above #7), so to have them in the same bracket with UNC was technically not right based upon seeding arrangements.
They just love the Big 12, it happens every year. Sooners #6 seed, Baylor over some of the bubble teams is suspect, etc.

Winthrop is so ineffective offensively that Wazzou will get lucky and survive and go on. Doubt that happens with Vandy.

I agree that the sooners being a #6 is crap, but Baylor to me is worthy of a bid and did try to add to its non-conference schedule this year.
The bid I hate most is Arizona, what a joke. I know they are talented and had guys out a few games, but to not finish .500 in conference means you should not have a bid.
I would have liked to see VCU get in. They are tough and could have beaten someone...
Yeah, sad to see VCU out, that would've probably been a nice 1H under play on their game if the matchup and line wasn't too exaggerated.

How about Arizona in as an at-large team at 19-14?
14 losses? And they weren't even on the bubble since others were seeded lower.
az getting in over asu was pretty weak
