Default think i might go to GA

i don't know if I am in a terrible streak... bad money management.... over the last few months I have lost alot of money.... If I quit I want to quit for good... I have made some decent money the last few years.,. This year has been bad... I just think this may be the start of some bad things ahead,... I am just nervous.. I also feel like this is just a waste of time.. aLL the money i won previous is now almost gone...
i know alot of people who have lost everything.. I know I DO NOT WANT TO BE THAT PERSON,.... and if i keep losing the nature of the beast will get me... i am going to stay in this until the next few weeks.. I already know where the meetings are.... maybe I just need to go.... I have been betting for 10 yrs and I am still somewhat young 32,,,, This has really been on my mind... later on guys

Just take it easy with the cash bro. Everything in moderation. That includes wagering. If you need to feel the "rush", make 5 dollar bets that arent going to cost the mortgage.
Money management. My roll for College Basketball was 500 bucks and I have magically turned that into about 400 in less than a week, but i'm not going to lose my shirt over it. But I'm still having fun. I'm not playing more than 10-15% of my roll each day.
If you feel like you got a problem then you should fix it, yes.
    Good luck.

I kind of feel the same way. The only thing I have going for me is I make 6 figures a year and have a nice house in Santa Barbara and do not have a lot of expenses.

GA is great but you have to go at least once per week forever or you will have a relapse, that is proven fact.

Figured you might need a little laugh right now...

When I first read the title, and then the first couple sentences , I had a brain frat for a minute and said to myself "Wow, why is this guy going to move to Georgia because of a losing streak?"

G.A. works for some personalities but not all. I've been at meetings. I"ve learned how to stop though G.A. Its a better choice than hitting rock bottom. Think it out. G.L.

Of course I do, but only recreationally as far as sports. Reloading today for the tournament, basically one weeks wagers. I set a budget for each sport and once its gone I'm done. If I win I drag the profits into A savings account in which I don't touch. Its how I manage things.
I was not a happy camper listening to the same stories in G.A. each week. But it served a purpose during a time when I was spinning out of control.

It helped me learn how to break an addiction. Basically the first three weeks are the most difficult for any type of addictive pattern. Now a days gambling is just one aspect of my existance, At the time I was in G.A. in was my sole reason for being. As "Dark Horse" has written Balance is a key to a well rounded life. I've learned to keep things in balance partically because I don't care to ever be humbled in those meetings again.
