Default Which is more profitable..sportsbetting or poker?

So what would you say actually earns more consistently...btw i know both have its ups and downs, thats a given. But which would you chose to pursue if given these two choices and why?

ummm highly depends of course. im sure there are much more winning poker players than winning sports bettors though. for me, 10000000% poker.

If this is a serious question...learn how to play poker. Really learn the game. Poker can be very lucrative. sports betting *can* be lucrative for the short-term.

You can outplay your opponents in poker and be a consistent winner. In sportsbetting every bet you place you're already behind(the juice)

ya i can definately agree with you on that raiders, it seems as tho online poker back in the hay days was so much easier than it is now. Even at low stakes it is played extemely tight...which makes for a headache to make any reasonable profit.

suzy, where do you play? I actually switched over to pokerstars from bodog, since bodog's payouts were ridiculously slow. Don't get me wrong their competition was very soft and beatable, but i just cant handle their unreliabilty.

Pokerstars has tighter competition at any stake, but i know my moneys safe. Not as many bad beats.

poker stars is my worst site by far. i dont play there all that much. i am not going to divulge the easiest sites (to me) on this forum for obvious reasons. i mostly play heads up though, so it probably wouldnt apply to you anyway.

Poker depends on the game. If your talking about going to your local casino and busting up a game, you have a decent chance at that.

Online poker is very competitive... I also don't trust online sites... Just me though. I mean you have no idea at all who you are playing.

I promised my girl I would stop betting sports until we are done with buying our house. She don't know I got 2500 in my glove box from poker the past 3 weeks.

3rd hand I tore some table up for 800.00 and cashed out. Didn't know what to do for the rest of the night. Ace 8 off suit. Guy thought I was trying to bluff him on making a flush.

I mean poker is alot of waiting and alot of patience.. Especially when you have a weak table. Up here you get alot of them older people gambling there SS Checks away etc... Beginning of the month is always a good time at the tables for me.
