Default Are Guys Under 25 Capable Of Winning Betting Sports?

I say no they are too young and bet way over their heads with no discipline.

Yeah I'm 29 and still somewhat inexperienced though I've been at it for 6-7 years...Lot of stuff to learn in this biz..and I've learned to work within my limits....Stupid out of control plays had me buried once bigtime...Now I research...stay away from traps...and still make a ton of bad calls...But I'm starting to win consistantly and refuse to go on these big time chases. I just pay up and start over....Good Luck on all your plays coach!!

I am under 25 and I am quite up for the year. I got killed my first 2 years making mistakes like chasing, parlaying, and using my bankroll to fukk broads. This football season i turned my first big profit. Now NCAA/NBA comin in strong. I have a great record here.

Money managemant is the most impotrant thing in betting. Do not chase. Biggest mistake of all bettors.

They are called women and you make love to them. Be nice to women like you were to your mother and don't treat them like a piece of meat.

They need to lose to learn. No shot. Gotta take some lumps. Its cost me a lot of money to become a decent handicapper. More expensive then college courses

Tommy from Goodfellas would have a classic comeback line here.

JJ these guys should be able to shave about 5 to ten years off of the learning curve with these sports sites that we didn't have. Then you have your thick skulls like 5 star fire cracker who thinks the books want equal action on both sides and will think this for the next ten years.

Listen up pal... I may be a rookie but the books DO WANT 50/50 action pal!! They dont want to be risking tons of money on certain sides pal

its about learning from your losses and the longer you are in this game the more you learn.

A 25 yr old with 10 years exp is much more seasoned than a 35 yr old with 3 years exp.

Short term definitely yes because Cee proved it. However, I have yet to meet anyone who has actually made a profit on the long term.

I'm talking about at least a few years. Some ppl can make a killing in a 1 yr period but then I always hear how they just end up losing most of the money and sometimes more than they gained.

That's true. Profits should be counted overall, not on an yearly basis.

I must be an exception to the rule then just like Cee. I would even go a step further and say it's easier to win just using the newspaper. I honestly can say it was easier from 16-21 for me just using the newspaper than 22-25. Not saying that I made more money, because obviously as I went on, my roll got larger, my unit size increased, overall plays were way bigger, etc.. Then for me, when I stepped up to $1000+ a play, my research became more intense incorporating logs, trends, msg boards, etc... I think the technology can actually hurt you at times. I'm talking everything, from the stats, to the trends, to the posts, and analysis, to the line watching, injury reports, all that shit can really fuck with your head and cause you to overanalyze sometimes more than it's worth.
