Default Who could have beat the 95/96 Bulls?

Finished the season 72-10. Who could have beat this team in the Finals? I personally dont think any team could have beat them. Best team in NBA History hands down

Any team nowadays could have beat that team.

    It's kind of like inflation.

The 2007 dolphins could have beat the 1972 Dolphins.

Humans have evolved and black people keep pushing the limits and becoming more athletic.

I think the 2007-08 New England Patriots could have beaten the 95/96 Chicago Bulls. Jordan would've put up 55 points, but Randy Moss would've had a triple double and Tom Brady would have thrown at least 13 assists against a porous Kerr/Kukoc secondary. Rodman would've had a couple sacks, though, while Weddington & Longley would've kept the run game in check. Jordan did run back an interception for a touchdown, but when Rodman missed his free throws, the game was over. I know you can blame the holder, but Rodman never really got his leg through. Personally, I blame Phil Jackson's triangle offense because it just couldn't match up to Bill Belilchick's mastermind 3-4 defensive scheme.

My point is that comparing sports teams across eras is as fantastical as comparing across sports.

    80's Lakers vs 96 Bulls

    Kareem>Longley
Worthy>Rodman rodman was there for defense and rebounds, he could protect the paint.
    Wilkes< Scott<< Magic>Harper
Cooper>Kerr Kerr was there for the three and only the three.
    McAdoo Rambis=Wennington they both sucked

    80's Celtics vs 96 Bulls
    Parish>Longley
    McHale>Rodman
Bird>Pippen Pippen would have locked bird down...pippen too athletic for bird. Bird would still score but he pippen would hold him down
    Ainge Johnson>Harper
    Sichting=Kerr
    Walton Wedman>Wennington

Nobody was stopping MJ/Pippen and Rodman. Rodman was on the bulls when they were at there best. They had a better post play when Rodman was around. Rodman would outrebound 3 people consistantly... you ever see him in tip drills...the things he would do to warm up. It was like coach said " rodman I need the ball, get me the ball... " I hope he doesn't kill anyone...

If Shaq shot 70% or better from the line then I'd say those Lakers.

    Wilkes< Scott<< Magic>>>>>Harper
Cooper>>>Kerr Kerr was there for the three and only the three.I would say Kerr was there to hit open shots. He usually took the tech free throw when he was on the floor.Cooper was a good shooter, good on the break, and an all time great defender. Bird said that Cooper was the best defender he ever went up against.

It's easy to say that when they played in a watered down, expansion year NBA. No one on that team could guard Kareem, Worthy, Magic, MaHale, Parish or Bird. While I don't think anyone on either team could stop MJ or Pip, I think Cooper could have annoyed them.

I disagree. Bulls would win. Best player is Jordan, another top 50 player in Pippen, best rebounder in nba history Rodman....

Hell, if Lebron has one of his 50 point games the cavs would beat that team, or if kobe goes off for 80 the lakers would take them also.

80's celts and showtime only teams with an argument, but no team is beating that bulls squad

Pippen is tall and athletic enough to guard Lebron in his prime. So please stop acting like everyone else annointing the "King". Lebron is good but he's no jordan. He just goes by guys that aren't as fast as he is. Or powers over smaller guys. He doesn't beat triple teams... He hasn't done 1/5th the things Jordan use to do in almost a weekly basis to win games...

I"m not saying James wouldn't score but he's not putting 40 up.

shaq in his prime with lakers 3 championships would be tough for anyone to handle, i think that team, and i hate to say it, would beat anyone in history in a 7 game series

they never had to play a monster like shaq during their two runs, shaq was a different player in 00-02, wouldve eaten luc longley, bill cartwright, will perdue, all for lunch. those chicago teams wouldve lost in 6 or 7 to kobe and shaq dynasty, i am sure of this
