    Default Wagerweb - Proven Trustworthy

This is my first post to this site and felt the need to call attention to some negative bashing of Wagerweb. Fist off, I have had an account with them for three years and have never had any problems. I do agree with some of the comments about customer service (yes it could be a little better), but beside that it has been almost flawless with regards to wagering, withdrawls and professionalism.

I have looked into other sites, the fact that Wagerweb has been there since 1997 should tell you something. 11 years in this industry (you can trust them). You may be able to receive bigger bonusses and/or higher rewards at other sites, but beleive me there are catches to every one of them.

As far as the bonus problem and wagering the freeplays on them and meeting the rollover, I have always understood it and it makes sense. If these sites didn't have strict rules in place the sharps would put each and every one of them out of business.

It is recommended by trustworthy professionals in the industry, so I take there word as well. Yes I am only a small time player compared to many, but would recommend this site over any other out there.

Answer this question. How long has Wagerweb been in business? That is really all you need to know.

Overall I would give Wagerweb 8 out of 10.

    Sincerly, Mr. Roboto...

Mr. Robot, check your facts - this sportsbook is pathetic - they stole $42,000 from me - who knows how many other people they have stole from. For all we know, you are another employee of WagerWeb trying to save their almost destroyed reputation. Once they pay me the $42,000 they owe me - I will have nothing else negative to say about them.

    WWS,

To be fair, you should put your dispute in context. They voided about 70 bets of yours that were past-posted.

I find it funny that WagerWebSucks has the weakest case of anyone who has had a significant complaint with them that I can remember.

At what point did he think "Maybe I should stop trying to hustle them and run with my winnings?"

I'd say they're proven, but not as trustworthy.

The fact they've been online for 10 years means nothing. Sportsbook.com has been around longer and they're the biggest crooks around.

Justin, to be fair, the morons took all of my plays over the phone, accepted them, provided me a confirmation number and then when I wanted to cash out they told me to F*** off. You need to tell it like it is also. Granted they were past posted, but I don't control when these idiots take down their lines - I am not going into this anymore. You need to state ALL the facts if you want to bring them up.

It wasn't like betting a game on line where they had it up a minute or two after it started. You found a bug in the system where you could monitor drives and talk BS knowing that you still could get the bet in. Hats off for the nice try, but really what do you expect?

I expect sportsbooks that take over 70 of my plays, over the telephone, by live clerks who provide me a confirmation number to pay me. If you accept the action then you have to pay the action - that is how this game works - any SBR "A" rated sportsbook would have paid me. This is not like their was a little bug on their internet site that allowed me to make plays in the middle of games.

If you don't believe me about "A" sportsbook paying me - call Bill Dozer at SBR and ask him.

Now, go back to the rest of your management team at Wagerweb and realize you are all a bunch of uneducated, unprofessionals who really have no business operating a sportsbook - then call SBR and apologize to them for wasting all of their time and send me my $42,000 and maybe your awful sportsbook will be on the right track to get just a little respect back - even with all of that it might be too late for your sad organization.

How much business do you think WagerWeb has lost over this whole thing? Be honest.............I know you being part of their management team have no idea. You all can't even take lines down at the proper time - so let me tell you - well over $42,000.

You really are a ****ing retard. I don’t work for Wagerweb. Your \*\*\*\*\*\* ass got ****ed for ****ing. Dude, we have these exchanges almost daily. When I go to bed I don't sit in the bed for hours ready to explode at the fact that I was stupid for knowingly ****ing the book but being too slow or smart to take the money out in a timely fashion. Face it greed killed you. The silly \*\*\*\*\*\* went to the well one too many times. Now you can't pay child support since you were really banking on the funds.

Wow...Didn't mean to start trouble here and that is not my intention.

First off, if a bet is made after the game has started it is written that the site can void your bet. I do realize that they may also take your action if you lose. That is up to the site, but in all honesty if they have ever voided one for this reason they should refund for the same reason, not really sure what the circumstances were with the person having these problems.

Second, I know clearly about the bonuses and the terms and conditions for winnings on these "Free Play" bets. Wagerweb has added a "Terms and Condition" clause when you make this wager online, and if you read that carefully it clearly states what kind of wagering you would have to make before these funds could be withdrawn.

To give you an example. Lets say you put in $1000 and recieve a 30% bonus, so your "Free Play" money is now $300. Let us say that you lost your original $1000 and now you wager any and/or all of the "Free Play". For this scenero I will wager all of it. So i put $300 on an even money game to win $300. Below is the breakdown.

    $1000 original deposit
    $300 bonus
$300 winnings (Example 5 times rollover)
We would take $1600 and times it by 5, which would equal $8000. You would have to wager the full $8000 to clear your "Terms and Condition" clause. If not, technically they can void your entire winnings.

Some advice...Before making any withdrawl I would call customer service (all calls are recorded) and ask they calculate your action to see if can make a withdrawl without any penalty.

As far as the person who made his wager once the game went off, his calls would have been recorded with the time and date. I find it hard to believe that if a game went off lets say at 8:00 PM and the call ended at 8:00 PM that the person who accepted the bet would have placed it 10 minutes later.

I Don't buy it because they read back your bet to you and ask you to confirm it, once this happens it official. This has been the policy for as long as I can remember. I realize this can be confusing, in all honesty try to avoid bonuses. Any site can ban a player who abuses bonuses and from a sites perspective they can lose money for being too generous with bonuses.

I don't work for Wagerweb, I have had an account there for several years. I find it intersting that not one person who responded noted the fact that they have been in business since 1997. That is huge in this industry.

Thanks for your replies and I like the discussion...Mr Roboto

Thank you for that thoroughly unbiased recitation of facts about Wagerweb, Mr. Roboto. You’ve certainly opened my eyes. I’m just glad you happened to discover this little site and by coincidence had at your fingertips all that information that so clearly exonerates Wagerweb of any and all wrongdoing.

You can bet if anyone criticizes Wagerweb in the future I’ll immediately remind myself that this is an enterprise that has been in business since 1997, something that far too many people are apt to ignore.

And we have you and your laudable objectivity, fairness, and gosh, just overall reasonableness to thank for it all, Mr. Roboto.

Nope, I just have an account with them, been using them for several years and never had a problem.

I make it a policy not to argue with fools, so I guess I wont be talking to you anymore. Good luck with your complaints. Any reasonable users here who want to discuss legit topics?

By the way, I just made 5 G's tonight in Wagerweb. I will let you know if I am able to successfully collect my money come Monday. (Oh yes, forgot to tell you, I made my wager 10 minutes before game time).

    Mr Roboto

I to play there and am happy. The bonus explanation you gave is correct, but the issue at hand is the limits being cut due to "professional play". I think that is the concern of some. Good job on your hit! I was up $5,000 from last week with them. I received a $500 and $1,000 payouts and proceeded to piss away the rest.

You both are liars! Wagerweb is the worst sportsbook on the planet and it is sad that you are coming out of no where to try to save their name.

Bottom line is nobody with any common sense would play at this sportsbook any longer. By you saying you play with them makes you look foolish - why would you play with a "C" book when there are plenty of "A" and "B" books available.

    Fools..............

    Yes! That would be 1997.

How people can criticize an established business like that is beyond me.

Surely whatever minimal grounds for skepticism remain will be definitively eliminated if Mr. Roboto is able to report a successful withdrawal on Monday. We’ll just have to wait and see.
