Default Suns +1100 to win it all

Really like their chances now in the wild west

If Shaq can keep up his play they can beat anyone

getem, while they are relatively cheap

PS also added the Warriors at 55-1 for shits and giggles

They will be out in the 1st round, together with the Spurs. Top teams in the west are Houston, Utah, New Orleans and Lakers, in no particular order.

They will play 7 in first round of playoffs and O'Neal will be done as early as that.

Utah is not a top team in the West. They have a very talented squad, great bench play, and a great coach, but unless they figure out how to win on the road, forget about it. They won't get home court advantage in the first round, so they'll be one and done.

I agree with you bro,I tried to tell my friends that Shaq would be ok.The man is a freak of nature and always will be.People tried to say "he can't run the floor" No he's no Carl Lewis, but he can still do what he needs to do.He also gives them a different go to guy when their not able to get out on the break.he also let's Stoudamire move to the power forward where he is able to do more.People tried to say that the Shaq trade was a bust, and I said give it longer than 3 games.Looks like me and you were right.

Shaq and the suns might not even make the playoffs. The west is just too strong

The west is as strong as ever...Suns beat the Spurs and now talk of winning the title?? They've never won one ever and this is not their best team or chance to win...Suns need a winning streak vs western conf playoff calibur teams before any of this can be taken seriously...

I am doubting that the Suns get anywhere beyond the first round...

look at what the hornets did to the spurs...blew their asses out in the fourth...suns barely beat the spurs and were down 85-80...having to make a late comeback...suns will most likely lose in the first round if they don't get home court advantage.

Yeah exactly...Suns might have a shot to take the series against the Jazz or Rockets but I doubt they will get past the Hornets, Lakers, Spurs, or Mavs.

From a matchup standpoint the Suns are favorable against Houston and Dallas. Unfortunately for them, it is likely they will not be matched up against either of those teams in the first round. Since they are likely to be dogs in every playoff series they manage to make it into, +1100 is actually a terrible price. Suppose you could get a series price of +100 for each of the 4 series they would need to win...that would yield an overall price of +1600 to win it all. To be honest I would not even consider them at that level. I would suggest +2400 would be a value price worth considering.

Not winning any championship with Nash as your main point guard, he cannot play D, Suns so weak on D end they will not even get to finals.

Suns have a shot because they have a big man and playoff basketball is a different breed of cat. I think the true odds are more like 18/1. This is going to be VERY interesting. That said I prefer The Lakers, Detroit, Boston and Golden State over The Suns to take the Title.

even with Shaq, they've proven that they can't win ugly..ie 81-77, etc. +1100 seems just about right

As a guy who thinks the NBA is a big sham and loves to promote certain players instead of seeing who the best team really is, I think this pick has a very good shot in my opinion
