I am interested in how many straight losses this takes before you get an actual loss....either way 1 series loss kills you since I am sure that you bet enough to cover your previous losses plus enough to make a unit of profit.

this is a 3 game series with the buying the 3 points. They buy 3 points on a team going on the road against the other conference. Example, Utah last night -4 against the bulls buy 3 points to make it -1. it lost so tonight you would buy 3 points on utah and cover your losses and if that loses bet them when they play boston. so 1 loss wipes out the profit of 19 wins.

no the system i was using just had random picks using their "formula" so it could be any 3 teams in the series. this system is different but uses the same format of buying 3 points.

just a quick question regarding this system....so do you bet any particular team and stick with it, buying 3 pts for 3 consecutive games, or do you take favorites, or what??? Interesting at best....a garbage system at worst...although if he is 72-1 or whatever, even with 1 loss = -17 wins, he is still up pretty big,anyone feel inclined to crunch some numbers and see what type of $$$$ he is up if this is the case (say, using 100$ as a unit, and -195 as buying 3 pts??? Got these #'s at 5 dimes)....
