I avoid betting sides on conference tournaments because of the unpredictability. Anyone can get hot three days in a row and can win the tournament. I also believe that the high seed teams coaches do not play their NCAA tournament's special plays because they know other teams are scouting. This is why you see many upsets in these tournaments. They will not use any traps or isolation plays they have with their star players so they can be more effective in the NCAA tournament.

Only looked at the Big East Bracket but

    North Carolina
    UCLA
Louisville/UConn/GTown, Who knows its going to be fun!
    Mississippi St
    Michigan St.
    Texas

Just looked at some other picks,

I thought I'd be the only one on MISS ST, WTF

ACC: North Carolina (Don't want to risk losing 1 seed, especially if they get Duke in final)
Pac-10: Stanford (good bye UCLA 1 seed if my other tourney winners win)
Big East: Louisville (might be Bet of the Year if they are dogs to G-Town)
SEC: Tennessee (would lose 1 seed with anything less, assuming my other picks pan out)
Big Ten:Wisconsin (best of weak bunch)
Big-12: Kansas (gets 1 seed if I am right on all)

    Top 5 seeds entering tourney:

    UNC
    Memphis
    Tennessee
    UCLA
    ---------------
    Kansas

    Thus my logic above.

Miss State is a 1 seed in the west though, popular pick outside of picking the vols.

I still sorta like five of mine.

Big East surprising me though. Dang. Pitt looking pretty good. I way downgraded them real early, when they failed to cover at Washington. But look at em now. I think they have a couple of youngsters who have matured immensely during the season. And Georgetown of course.
