Default I can't take it anymore

Im gonna snap. I can't take anymore Lebron James. Why doesn't ESPN just rename their station the Lebron James station? I thought for sure since he didn't play last night there wouldn't be any mention of him but they did about fifteen minutes of freaking games he played in earlier in the week. MY goodness there were around ten games last night and not one guy got more then 30 seconds. Enough already. Where is Kobe? have they just tossed him aside. Last year they had a rigged contest where it was "who's now" and Lebron was beating guys like Brady and Manning. I think someone finally told ESPN how ridiculous they look so they finally had Tiger beat him. Now it is who is better Lebron or KObe. When have you ever seen stuff like this? They are doing everything in their power to brainwash everyone into thinking he is bigger then life. Every freaking Morning it is Lebron this Lebron that. I have to go call my therapist. Im starting to miss Brett Favre crying.

Thor you are right on man, I can't understand it either. They just like to hype up on something. Just like theydo with the Red Sox, the entire station is Red Sox fans.

Yea so much his team is 9.5 games back of 1rst place. The man can't play D, he can't shoot. The man is only in it for the money and the fame he could care less if he wins. I hate him.

i agree. but i think they just dont have anything else to talk about until until baseball season. they gotta fill holes somewhere. genius is right, wait until espn starts to jack-off the redsox and yankees. drives me to drink.

lebron wouldnt be scoring over 30 a game and he wouldnt be the best 4th quarter player in the league if he was just in it for the money. doesnt play a lot of defense, i agree, but the kid has been shooting lights out lately. you cant say he cant shoot. and you cant blame him for the lack of help he gets

Lebron is King, just deal with it.

Give it a few weeks, and ESPN will be all over the Yankees and Red Sox's nuts.

prove me wrong buddy. lebron is always doing that thing where he claps his hands with the white shit. I have heard him say before is all he is trying to do is entertain the fans. I would love to get that in a quote for you. Kobe is oneof the leagues best perimeter defenders and james is no where near that. James can't shoot 3's that is obvious.

Three points you made I had a problem with.

1st: Simply stating a teams record is not a valid argument, at all. An individual has more effect on his teams performance in basketball than almost any other team sport, but he still doesn't have anywhere close to total control. In my opinion, LEBrons teammates do not provide him with enough support for anyone to expect him to be anything other than "9.5 games out of first place", even if he is the best player in the world.

    2. He can defend, and I think somewhere around 90% of people who know the game and the so-called "experts would agree with that. He has shut down some of the absolute top talent in the league this year, including your beloved Bryant, along with Pierce, Wade, Roy etc... His physical ability alone almost ensures he is an elite defender.

    3. Though I dont doubt that quote is true, it is of my opinion that he cares a ton about winning. He pressures management all the time because he wants to win. He has been giving his all this entire season, playing his ass off because he wants to win. His motives for wanting to win are irrelevant.

Lebron has tons of talent along side of him. The cavs are just as talented as the Celtics and maybe the Pistons too. However for some reason they are 9.5 games back.

Kobe has been known for his great defense for a long time. I'd like to see lebron shutdown Kobe in the finals this year....too bad the cavs won't be there for us to say that.

Lebron just ask for certain players because they are his friends and he wants to part with them after the games. Kobe is a winner, it's not even comparable.

JJ he is dominating the game because all you see are the highlights on ESPN. Look, i know he is a very good player but give me a freaking break. For the first time i think in his career i saw him make a shot with someone guarding him. Look at the highlights they are almost all dunks with guys running away. Big freaking deal. The three point shots are shots with no one withing five feet of him. I actually watch the games JJ and not the 30second highlight reel on ESPN. He can make five mistakes but you wont see one of them. I once saw him shoot a brick, get it on the otherside and lay it in and they said he passed it to himself LMAO.

Of course you will you idiots all pull your cocks out and watch his highlight reel every night on ESPN and KObes are nowhere to be found. Next what are ya gonna say he is better then Jordan. It is so easy to manipulate people with the shit espn does its almost comical. He is the best dunker in the league ill give him that.

Don't watch ESPN. Watch TNT with Doug Collins. He's a genius.

So everyone moves out the way so he can get his 30+ points a night? Give me a break. What about his 7+ assist, and 8 rebounds?

If the guy was all about himself, then he would be averaging a triple double, easy.

No need to hate, because he lost you a few wagers.

I can't knock James...he is one of the few players that can almost single-handedly take over a game. Very solid all around player.

Lebron is legit. That being said though, I'll take Kobe over Lebron anytime. Tough for me to say since I absolutely hate the Lakers and Kobe more than any other team or player in sports. Kobe is a shut down defender and can take over the game whenever he feels like it.

You an ignorant fool. He is driving and making layups and dunks not bc guys get out of his way, but bc he is a F U C K I N G FREIGHT TRAIN in the lane. he beats his men off the dribble and uses his strength and power to will his way to the rim. If you want to bust a nut on somone who can get by shooting Js, go jizz on Kyle Korver, I am sure hes better than LBJ since he can make shots from distance...

When I bought my last TV, I made sure it had a remote with which to change channels if I didn't like a particular station or show, and an ON/OFF button that allows me to just turn the damn thing off before I get to the point of feeling the need for therapy due to watching too much of anything. Just a thought, but my advice to you is to either change channels or shut the set off completely.

The point was not if he is a terrific player but whether if espn, espn news, espn2 are trying to make him larger then life. Obviously you have bought the coolaid. He does no wrong.

I tried sweetie. I flip to espn 2 and he is there, Espn news he is there. Even Jordan didn't get this kind of press. My therapist advised me that this is what stations do to pull in the naive and gullible to think a certain way. I see it works. I realize i shouldn't have posted this because looking around here as well as other sites Espn has done their job. Lebron is the greatest athlete in the history of sports.
Nobody is even close. He is the KIng right?

Since I don't follow the NBA at all, I really wouldn't have a clue as to who the best player is right now. But your therapist might have a good point about ESPN excelling in pulling in the naive and gullible. I've even heard a rumor that ESPN was one of the players in the whole Sept 11th show, using one of Chris Berman's patented "back, back, back" calls that morning to distract most of the male population between the ages of 18 and 35 while the goverment fired missiles into the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

Thor and MJF, you guys are clearly jaded to the point of no return. No sense arguing.

Saying an NBA player isn't one of the best in the world because he's not a great shooter is like knocking a violinist because he plays with his shoe untied.

If i could just have a penny for every clown who throws out the "you lost your wagers card, so deal with it" I would be a billionaire. Again chief nobody here is saying James is a bad player. My problem is with the NBA and ESPN for the obvious agenda they have with James. If you somehow don't understand what i am talkng about i will gladly bring up a post from last year from another site, where i predicted which teams would lose so Lebron could have an easy path thru the playoffs. Everything i said in those couple of post came true. What i said on that site you would have to be a magician to predict or think the NBA is sneaky. I know this will be over most people's heads but isn't it strange that the two big studs in the draft went to the West? Was this to keep everyone's full attention on Lebron? Nah the NBA woulddn't pull off something like this. Kinda like they wouldn't make sure Ewing got picked to go to the Knicks in the 85 draft. Check out the bent envelope in this video. Also check out envelope number 4 where Stern picks it up and tosses it and then each pick from there on out he evades it like the plague. Just saying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TgJE7C5wiU

I'm guessing it would actually be closer to making you $10 richer, but then I don't really know how many wagers you may have lost over the years.

Now this is where I'm guessing you made the billion since you obviously loaded up on the Cavs in each of their series and took the money home
