Middle Finger Beat The Prick 2010 Contest is OPEN!

    Requirements: One-time $50 balance
To be eligible for prize money each contestant MUST have had a balance of $50 in the Diamond Sportsbook account PRIOR to that week's games and after joining this contest. The $50 is only required to be present in the Diamond Sportsbook account once and is NOT required to be present each week following the initial entry. Non-depositors will receive SBRpoints instead of cash in their Diamond Sportsbook account. New Diamond Sportsbook account holders must register through the BTP Sponsor Link.

    $10,000 Weekly Prize!
$10,000 is up for grabs each of the 15 weeks. The prize money will be divided among all entrants that outscore 'The Prick' that week. The prize amount is weighted based on your score against others who beat The Prick.

Increased Weekly Prizes! Each time the amount of weekly participants increases above 500 by 100 players, $2,000 will be added to the prize pool! Examples: 599 participants means no changes to prize pool. The 600th participant triggers another $2,000 for $12,000 total prize pool. If 800 to 899 people compete in a week, that week BTP prize pool is $16,000. A participant is defined by a contestant who makes the required minimum amount of picks and avoids disqualification.

    $10,000 Season-ending Prize!
    1st place $5,000
    2nd place $2,500
    3rd place $1,000
    4th place $750
    5th place $400
    6th place $200
    7th place $150
*Cash prizes carry a five time rollover (play-through of prize winning).

    How to Enter:
Step 1: Become a member of SBR. If you aren't registered open a free account here.
Step 2: Join The Beat The Prick contest & enter your Diamond Sportsbook user ID
Step 3: Make your 4 weekly picks after 'The Prick' makes his selections. The contest starts Tuesday September 7th.
    * Make sure there is $50 in your account between the time you join and the day first games begin!

How to play Beat The Prick
    • You will make 4 plays each week. Making less than 4 plays disqualifies you for that weekly prize but those plays will count toward your season-ending score.
    • By midnight Tuesday of each week, 'The Prick' will make 4 picks on NFL or NCAAF sides or totals. Contestant picks cannot be entered until 'The Prick' has made his picks. The games which he selects will be taken off the board and are not available to contestants.
    • Everyone including The Prick will choose a 2-unit (double value) best bet each week.
    • You must Beat The Prick to win. If The Prick scores +3.00 and you score +3.10 you will have beaten The Prick. However, if The Prick goes 4-0 with his football plays, there are no winners.
    • Only players with a positive score can earn prizes. Placing above The Prick but with negative units for the week will not earn prizes.
    • You must have made 48 picks to be eligible for the season-ending prizes.
    • Final Standing Prize: You must have made your one-time deposit before Week 10's football games begin to be eligible for the end of season prize.
    Fine Print
    • You must enter your Diamond Sportsbook account ID even if you intend to only play for SBR Points. A valid account assists with SBR with contest fraud.
    • One entry per household allowed.
    • DSI accounts must be in good standing. Players subject to book's own policies and terms and conditions.

You can join anytime throughout the season. To compete for the final-standings prize you need to make 48 total plays.

The contest runs from week 1 to week 15 of NFL season. College plays are included.

this is the first time I've seen the "fine print". It looks like you need a DSI acct even if you are playing for points. From all the other Q and A threads , it seemed like this was not the case. Is it true that you need the account to play, if only playing for points?

    question about rollover:

lets say the prick sucks, which will likely happen, and you win 4 weeks in a row.. does this mean we can never cash out since we will have like a 20x rollover?

You do need a valid DSI account to be eligible for your prize in SBR points. Only accounts that have had $50 in them after they join the contest receive cash prizes.

It will be 5x. Rollovers don't add together.

yes but what im saying is.. lets say you win $200 one week with a 5x rollover. you have completed $400 in rollover, but you win another $100 the next week and have a 5x rollover on that.

So going into the next week you have completed $400 of a $1000 rollover and $0 of a $500 rollover. My next bet will go to which rollover? Only the first? Both? Can I not withdraw til all the rollovers are done?

Each is independent. You can withdraw when you roll it 5X.

    its real simple

act like the other prize money was never deposited and dont touch it

you win 200 roll it over 2 times have say 600

next week you win another 200 prize

only use the 600 to bet with until you roll it over or go bust then either take a payout or start using the other 200 you won with a new 5x rollover

Makes no difference, we will verify that the 1-time deposit was made or that the $50 cash existed when you joined.

Very frustrating. I go on live help they say VC gift cards are no problem and all I had to do was go on live help and they would process my deposit for me. (I've done this at other books in the past with no problems). So I go out and buy a VC gift card but they won't process it. They want me to fill out a bunch of paperwork and send pics of the front and back of the card and receipt. I don't have a scanner or fax machine and I certainly don't have time to be making trips to kinko's to do this. I don't even know where there's a kinko's around here. It would be nice if live help told me this before I bought this card. Waste of $50.

    Hi Bob,

Do you have a camera that you could use?

Gift cards are popular deposit methods as their acceptance rates can be much higher than standard CC's. Establishing your identity or possession of a physical card is just part of the normal process.
