So far over 80 individuals have participated at least 1 time in the best bet thread. We get anywhere between 20-30 participants each day. I think it has been a success.

I'd like to thank Diogee and LK1 for helping out. Its not the easiest thing to grade and it does take some time.

Moving on, I will be implementing a few changes with baseball just around the corner....

1) Grading will not just be win/loss but I will also include UNITS won/loss along with your record.

For example: A -186 loser will be reflected as 0-1 -1.86 and a +186 winner will be reflected as 1-0 +1.86.

2) For the ATS plays that have already been graded, I will use a -105 grading scheme.

So if you are 10-5 with all ATS plays your record will show as 10-5 +4.75.

But from here on out (starting tomorrow, Monday) I will need you to post your juice along with the play.

So that means you should be posting Cavs -1 -108 or Nuggets +3 -110, etc.

If you do NOT leave the juice along with your play I will grade it as -110. So if you post Cavs -1 and they lose, your grade will be 0-1 -1.10

3) Moneyline Favorites will be allowed for BASEBALL, SOCCER, TENNIS and HOCKEY; But not for Basketball and Football. For those sports you will have to use ATS plays. If you don't I will not grade it.

Moneyline underdogs are always allowed for every sport and the units won will be reflected in your record.

4) SECOND HALF PLAYS are NOT allowed.

Maybe I should make a rule: NO moneylines over +300.

Because it seems like a few guys are just posting huge moneyline underdogs to look better in the standings.

It's one thing if someone plays big moneyline dogs on certain occassions, but to have +1000, +1500 wagers as your best bet of the day raises some eye brows.

I am still debating of putting a cap on moneyline favs at -200 for bases. Still debating though.

Let people fool themselves into thinking they will win a lot by betting -300 favorites. Even the best teams in the league lose 65 games. I sincerely believe we won't see too many of them anyway.

Someone can be doing well at 16-5 +10.15 units and make a -300 play and lose and there goes a 3rd of his bankroll on one loss.
