Mofo I took it that you meant our opinion of potential NFL success, and not what our projected order is come draft day. My top five in terms of potential NFL success right now are:

    Matt Ryan - BC
    Brian Brohm - Louisville
    Andre Woodson - Kentucky
    JD Booty - Southern Cal
    Josh Johnson - San Diego

    Ryan
    Henne
    Brohm
    Woodson
    Ainge/Booty.

Everyone says Flacco is good, never seen him play though so can't put him on here.

Same here Nep...he has outstanding stats but has trouble with Center to QB exchanges since he is a shotgun QB....a flaw that can be fixed for sure.

I think Henne is going to be solid in the pros.

no doubt in my mind that brohm is the best qb in the draft. over 4000yds and 30 tds last year. he did get sacked 24 times because of a shitty off. line and the absolute gawd awful defense giving up 68560958765 pts a game is what will cause him to not be the #1 qb in the draft. (put him on a team that likes the shotgun though) fuk it, the guy will be the best out of the qb draft in the long run anyways, imo. ryan, woodson, henne, booty follow. (fwiw, i think flacco would have been a stud no matter where he played.)

Some reports out of the combine have Brohm falling fast - down to the bottom of Round 1, maybe even into Round 2.

How many notable NFL quarterbacks did NOT play at a Div 1-A school?

I know the guy who played for years for Oakland was, like Flacco, a Blue Hen (which I think is what the Delaware team is called).

Phil the Loudmouth,I think, played at Div 1-AA.

Old black guy with Baltimore played 1-AA. (or has he already been cut?)

Don't know if any Hall of Fame qbs played Div 1-AA, or less.

Do know that the NFL's greatest receiver played 1-AA, in one of the "traditional" black colleges in the South.

Ainge may have a top 1-2 arm but the kid is an absolute doofus. makes way too many mental errors. scouts saying brohm not all that comfy setting up under center. thats why i said whoever takes him will need to employ the shotgun more. solid group of kids though.

Ainge's arm is average on a good day. He doesn't have the sack to stand in the pocket. He will suck in the NFL. This is coming from a TN fan.

Everyone said the same thing about the other two Brohms. They put up huge numbers and they never panned out. It will be interesting to see if little bro can do any better.

yep. he needs to grow some onions if he wants to play in the league. he was embarrassing at times, he just gets so scared when there is a hint of pressure.

I think everyone has just seen what other Hawaii qbs have done. Awesome stats in College, no shows in the NFL. What does Brennan bring to the table that the others didn't?

I think he will do better than people think. He can make all of the throws plus he is very athletic. I think alot of people think he was a system QB like those that came out of U of Houston like Ware and Klingler.

    1.Henne
    2.Ryan

    everyone else
Woodson-yeah that guy tried to quit on his team last year
Brohm-saw all I needed to see against Wake last year

    wildcard
Brennan-looked pretty bad against Georgia and ran a run and shoot offense. If im not mistaken no qb who has run that offense in college has had a successful stint as a pro. But there is a first time for everything.

Yeah, with a half decent team he'll be a very good QB imo. He's like Derek Anderson but better at tackle football, and i like Anderson a lot.

He'll go No. 1 QB whether he turns out to be a stud or not; he won't be the first No. 1 to tank.
