    Oooh...someone pays attention to me.

Yes, I am a Lion fan. BUT, I do not feel that Harrington was 100% to blame for his stint in Detroit. Mooch wasn't a very good coach.

And for the love of cheese, FIRE MILAN!

I ALWAYS pay attention to you my dear and not just because you have a stellar rack and sexy eyes!!

You are right, the only person that can be held 100% accountable for Detroit's mess is Matt Millen. And of the 3 stops Joey has had, Detroit was his best. His year in Miami was painful to watch (being a dolphins fan), but if this guy signs on as anything more than a 3rd string guy than it speaks volumes for how pathetically awful the depth of the QB position is in the NFL.

Yikes, I spelled Millen's name wrong. That's not like me.

Poor Joey. He may not be a good QB, but he sure does play a mean piano.

p.s. If this doesn't speak volumes as to Harrington's worth, I don't know what does.

I purchased an official Joey Harrington Lion figurine from a flea market two months ago for $10. Even then, I probably could have talked the guy down to $5.

Harrington is awful. Guy deserves to be a backup and that is it. Maybe a starter in the AAFL.

He could go to play in the CFL in Canada. He would probably make about 300K a year Canadian up there and get free socialized health insurance.Maybe if our dollar shrinks more, that 300K Canadian might be like a million bucks here. For some of the really fringe non import lineman, they make as much as a woman check out clerk at Safeway where they have a strong union.hehe!

To be honest, you need a brainless guy with a cannon for an arm who can really run and scramble to be a successful QB in Canada.Joey wouldn't cut it there.

Maybe he can get golf lessons from his cousin and take up golf.

In Canada they really try the affirmative action approach to filling rosters with at least a few Canadians. They call the USA players imports and Canadians non imports. They hold a certain number of roster spots open for Canadians as a quota whether they are the best available player or not.I saw an open tryout in Winnipeg one spring where kids from places like Notre Dame and Penn State that were starters were competing against native Canadians and it was hilarious.Just by looking at a guy you could see they shouldn't have been on the field competing. It was sort of like that movie about the guy that walked on as a tryout player for the Philadelphia Eagles. The guys that showed up with him were overweight Norm's from Cheer's etc.hehe!
