Here's my A-list of gambling books:
College Basketball Handicapping (Fields) - objective analysis of NCAA basketball
Shuffle Tracking for Beginners (George C) - ultra advanced Blackjack technique
Harrington on Hold’em (Harrington & Robertie) – brilliant 2-volume set on no-limit Texas Hold’em
Gambler's Guide to Taxes (Lewis) - authority on how to legally pay less taxes on
gambling winnings
Blackjack and the Law (Loeb) - detailed analysis of gambling law and tax issues
Win more-- Lose Less! (Peszynski) - intermediate to advanced gambling theory
focusing on NFL
Advanced Backgammon (Robertie) - two volume set on all aspects of winning the
game
Investing in College Basketball (Seidel) - brilliant work on handicapping NCAA
Basketball
Theory of Poker (Sklansky) - basic theory of Texas Hold'em Poker; all his books
are good
Take the Money and Run (Tamburin) - beginner's guide to card counting at
Blackjack
Professional Blackjack (Wong) - intermediate book on card counting at Blackjack;
all his books are good
Sharp Sports Betting (Wong) - beginning gambling theory; Many consider this the
bible of sports betting
Wong on Dice (Wong) - a legitimate text on winning at Craps via dice throwing
technique
It's called The Odds. The author's name is Millman. It's about a casual and a professional gambler, and a corporate bookie, taking on a season of college basketball. It's pretty good.
Some old books I like are Bookie: My Life in Disorganized Crime (Talcum) and The National Football Lottery (Merchant).
Might have to look at ABE.com or other used book sites to find these.
