While looking at the lines today, I saw a eye candy for sure.

Today Lakers play the Mavericks. Pick the Lakers with the 11 points it is a lock.

Reasons why for the lock.

1). Usually when winning more than 10 straight in a row like Dallas, the chances increase every game that there will be a letdown and a loss.

2). Lakers are a decent road team.

3). Kobe has been held down the last several games, will explode today.

4). History repeats itself.

5). 11 point spread is just too much especially when the Dallas Guards cannot keep up with Kobe regardless of Lakers inguiries.

Their 2nd and 3rd bets scorers and Odom their best rebounder. Mavericks are much more of a quality team and 20 point blowout wouldnt surprise me at all.

I just cannot go against this situation 11 points spread with a player like Kobe, by himself he will keep them in the game. We shall see.

If that's a 100% lock then I might need to reevaluate the basic foundations of human existence because apparently I've been living in a strange netherworld where all recognizable factors point to that pick being around 50%.

Dallas is playing at a much higher level than early in the year when the Lakers took a couple games off of them. The Lakers are playing poorly in this current stretch and their defense has become abysmal. 11 points are a lot of points and I see this game as 'no play'.

We in L.A have already given up on the Lakers. Kobe also has been
figured out, you do this wall defense on him and that helps contain

Lost yesterday with the Lakers and the halftime spread, came close but not cigar. I think they need to get rid of Odom.
