    305 Robin Soderling -1½ sets -175

    Soderling has been playing such impressive tennis this season. He is officially 100% healthy and should quickly regain his top 10 player ranking status of a few seasons ago. Just a few seasons ago I had Soderling has a top 5 player. He got hurt and had a pretty bad 2007. But he looks to be back and has been dominating top opponents. Just this tournament alone he has beaten Roddick and Stepanek in straight sets! He has not lost a set this tournament! He has lost just one time (Finals of last weeks tournament) in his last 9 matches.

    I see him disposing of red hot, but overmatched Darcis in straight sets!

    I'm staying away from this match. This Darcis makes me a little nervous. I'm focusing on Dubai & Vegas right now.

    Yes. And I rode him to a few underdog wins. But his ride ends today. Soderling too strong.

    I will have Dubai and Vegas plays daily.

    Another week to make another killing on tennis.

    I never heard of these guys on tour now, Tennis is really a dying sport

    Golf would be completely dead but Woods is the whole show so they stay in the limelight.

    I grew up playing tennis and love the sport..Always drive over to Cincy for the mens tour tournament in August...big drinking fest... Anyways Im Trying to play close attention for now while basketball season winds down so Ill have something to do for the spring/summer.. I just dont have the patience (or math skills)to cap baseball games...so this would be an obvious choice...

    Madcapp...maybe someday Ill get around to asking for some tips on cappin matches....GL

    **...I hope you didn't lose too much on this match. I didn't have any action on Darcis but I knew well enough to stay away from Soderling. This is 2nd consecutive final Soderling has lost. He'll probably get to the final in Las Vegas and lose to some qualifier. He probably has a terrible record in finals.

    On to Las Vegas and Dubai....

    The field in Dubai is amazing. There are going to be some great matchups and I suspect a lot of value with some of these elite players who find themselves as dogs.

    Hopefully, the MadCapper can provide some insights during the week on these two important tournaments!

    Actually, four touraments were won by underdogs:

    1. Skakhovsky - Zagreb
    2. Dementieva - Dubai
    3. Almagro - Acapulco
    4. Darcis - Memphis

    Only Davenport & Pennetta, both #1 seeds won their tourneys. Very good week for underdogs.
