Default Forum life is just as real as life in person

for many of us. It's just another form of communication. In person, phone, email and forum posting are all real.

I've met lots of guys on the forum that I consider friends. Later on I'll met them in person or by the phone.

But communication with some friends goes no further then IM or PM. And I'll deal with these guys financially where I wouldn't with some people in person.

You still have a ways to go to top Coach. 20 hours/day of power posting on 7 forums.

forums arn't anything like real life to me. I try to respect everyone here and have some pals but you cant substitute real life situations to just online communication imo

I'm speaking for the majority of gamblers that post on gambling message boards all day. You cannot be one and not the other, none of us are doctors.

I work for the railroad, thats why I can only post late at night when I get off work.So far I've had this shift for 3 months, but I could be rolled any day by some one who has been there longer then I have. Then you don't know what shift your gonna work.one day it's days, next shift nights. One time I worked every 8 hours for 6 months.........I'm still a degenerate gambling loser too though.

I would have never met the likes of fine people like Sportsgirl, Nina, Swede or Robyn if it weren't for the innarweb...so yeah.

Fezzik went up as high as you can go as an actuary and gave it up to gamble.

It's just so easy meeting people from a forum. There's so many of us that have at least one thing in common. Then you find out more and want to continue communicating in other ways.

I don't count any communication via computer, phone, fax, smoke signals, as actually meeting a person. I reserve the meeting definition for actual meeting in person. Until then, they are voices, pictures, or words. I know that there is a person behind those things but meeting a person and conversing via a technology quirk are two different things.
