The thing is, guys were, and some still are- very generous to him for money in the hundreds of dollars with his stories of bookies going to kill him, hedging bets, sick/injured relatives, etc. etc.

A lot of the newer posters are especially- hate to use this word- gullible, as they try to "fit in" the forums and try to help a fellow poster.
