SBR visits LazerWager (SBR rating D-) office to discuss withdrawal issues

The sportsbook's management tells SBR that a single CC processor, which has taken the majority of its deposits, is refusing to release the funds to the book and hasn't done so since January 15th. Lazer tells SBR that if the CC processor does not release the funds they will invest more money in the book and a best case scenario would be some players receiving payment in early April. SBR asked LazerWager the obvious question. Why would they not save their reputation and the players from waiting by funding the business now since players will purportedly be paid regardless? The manager we spoke with was unable to address this question on behalf of its anonymous "ownership." Players should be concerned due to the fact that the book is unable or unwilling to pay, making this more than a processing issue. Lazerwager is currently still taking deposits from new players. SBR estimates the debt to Lazer users to be just over $120,000.

I admit I read the rumors on the other forums, however no slow pay complaints came across my desk nor seen any slow complaints on the forum about them until TLD made his post back on 2-27-08.

I remeber I made a $200 deposit with them. I had to wait 10 minutes on the phone for a ** name. Once the money was in I called and asked to make a bet. They took the bet and I lost. I read later that they don't take bets over the phone.

I deposited 100 in that same promo and thanks to the stupid ass Carlo contest built my account up to 2500

I did get a 1500 cashout from them a while ago

Blew the rest of the money, but i knew they were only going to be a short term book and after Super Bowl were gonna close shop

Their fancy live dealer thing was a complete waste of money, never saw more than 5 guys on all tables combined and some of them could have been management themselves

JJ some of us are gamblers and will hit them up. I'll take my licks if I get stiffed. That doesn't mean I won't try and get my coin.

I got in and out of lazer very quickly getting a 100% bonus in the mean time. I'm presently out and had no desire to go back despite their superbowl promo.

Exactly Doug... Because that early in the game the risk is well worth the reward sorta speak.Now if you don't get in and out early. Then waiting I'd probably say about a 12 to 14 months or so before jumping in would be a safe time frame to clear the question marks surrounding them.

I tried to warn all who would listen about how Lazer wager refused to pay out. Since then they have been down graded to a D - and have had a scam alert issued against them.
All I wanted to do was warn those that did not know that they are a deposit only site.

LazerWager continues to market to new players and acknowledges that if a player hits a big parlay they will have to wait for investors to fund the sportsbook before being paid. LazerWager management maintains that delinquent accounts will be current in mid April. LazerWager's most recent marketing campaign included a phony press release offering Paris Hilton a job for $100,000, $20,000 less than the estimated amount owed to bettors.

The sad truth is I came here in the fall to warn those potential depoitors of my horrible experience. Instead I was ridiculed and bashed only for trying to help. Now it appears many others had won wagers and were not paid.
I only wish I read someones posts about this company before I anted up. Apparently SBR down Graded Lazer wager to a D- and issued a scam alert.

Don't worry about me as I am done posting. I just felt the word must be passed around. The truth is what gamblers need to know. I feel great now as my tale of woes looks better all the time now.
