I don't see the point of this thread. Is it just to express that you believe yourself to be the best handicapper on the board, are are you just drunk/lonely and looking for a fight tonight? And you're only 22, what kind of "bills" could you have?

I am in no way a great handicapper...as a matter of fact I am a rookie and have only been doing it for a couple of months at most and don't mind losing...I really have no one "best bet". I feel equally confident in every play I make and flat bet them as well.

It's interesting when you pick an unpopular dog as your main play...and the crap you get for it....then it comes thru...a couple days later another dog selection...and the crap recycles for taking that one as well...I had members emailing how there was no way the Blazers would cover..not paying attention that this is a home game +8....they've beaten the Lakers 4 in a row at home and are 7-1 ATS in the last 8 vs them as well...live and learn

and I'm a Lakers fan...have been forever even before I moved to LA...but I've seen a lifetime of Laker games at Portland and know hard it has always been for them at that place...I hope they pull this out and win ...just not by 8 or more

Yes clearly the people winning are truly submitting their best bets, and the people who are losing must not have entered their best bets, or else they would win. And if they sided against you and won, they were just lucky.

It's not accurate to judge the whole board by one thread thats been going on for only a few weeks. I think we should all be here to help each other to become better cappers.

I don't really know what answer you are looking for. One could say, "most ppl do lose and that's why vegas makes so much money". I say, thats lame. But honestly, sportsbetting can be profitable by using proper money management skills along with proven strategies and more importantly studying teams and games.

There are several types of bettors. Recreational, professional, degenerates, occasional, spot, good, bad, etc.

I would hope that nobody is here because they like to lose money. I think most ppl that find this site are trying to learn as much about sports as possible so they can become better handicappers. Most sportsbettors don't lose because they suck or because they don't know about sports.

I think it is most likely they lose because they either don't study the games, have to have action, don't use proper money mgmt skills, or try to dig out of a slump in a day or two.

I can assure you that there are alot of guys making money here. But, I do agree that there are some here that are action junkies and if they are here long enough hopefully they will become soild cappers and learn the tools of the trade.

Anybody can become better at anything and everything. It takes time and passion for what you are doing.

I agree with you to a certain extent. There are a lot of dumbasses on here and a lot of them have joined the site recently. One of the mods here is a complete dumbass who cant pick his nose..

My complaint more so is with people who post picks without any explanations or records and then bump their threads when they win and disappear when they lose. It really doesn't do anyone any favors posting plays without explanations.

For every one person who is winning there are nine who are losing. Luck has something to do with it as well.
