Default PAGS: Open invitation for a challenge

    Pags

Since you declined my last challenge based on the value of the 7 in cfb, I would like to propose another one as you consider yourself to be an astute handicapper.

I would like you to tell me what sort of win rate you think you can achieve in cbb since that is one your specialties (based on what I have read).

We will then decide on a certain number of plays from here going forward; maybe 7-10 a week - more if you would like, using a widely available number - perhaps CRIS.

The ball is in your court. As long as the terms are reasonable we can proceed and hash out the details after.

    Let me know.

    It will be fun.

I'll take it. 52% over 100 plays using any of the books above and pushes don't count as a play. No favs of more than -110.

C'mon, raiders - don't get in the way of this.

We want to see a docdekay vs pags11 grudgematch.

Fine by me but if the challenge isn't accepted then I'm saying that I'd take it. The last one wasn't accepted.

52% LOL. even an idiot like me might be able to pull that off.

Make it 53.3% over a 103 plays (55 wins) with ALL lines at -110 (spreads only - no normalizing), at ONE book with a normal line - CRIS, OLY, 5dimes and you're on.

You wont be picking off numbers from a shit book like bodog that has a square line.

You just knocked out 95% of this board taking up your challenges.

Pags is a self proclaimed handicapping expert who declined my last challenge even though I was willing to let him TELL ME which games I could buy on/off the 7 for 5c. He did tell me that the 7 was worth less than 5c on "certain" games.

All he has to do is hit a bit above breakeven and he can scoop the money. Surely someone of his ilk could do better than breakeven and take money from an asshole like me.

    Seems fair to me.

I'm sure the only reason that a professional capper like pags11 hasn't replied is that he's not seen this thread yet.

Quit with that talk - he's an self-styled internet celebrity. There's no way he's going to pass up a challenge like this.

If he bets $5-10 a game or bets $500-1k a game that
doesn't make him worse of a capper.

Thats not the point, if he bets 50 a game he is not going to put up 5k for a challenge

    dickdock,

look you jackass...I'm tired of these one-sided challenges...you can mirror the ammount of picks I make between now and the end of the basketball season (there are approximately 5 weeks left including conference tournaments)...if I win, you wear the same avatar as max...if I lose, I'll put an avatar of you kicking my ass...none of these challenges where you don't have to do any of the work...

I am not self-proclaimed, my record speaks for itself jackass...have you taken a look at the picks I've posted for bowl games and this year's college hoops plays?...

magnavox, you know nothing about my unit sizes...I'd be happy to explain all of that when I'm not at work...but I did make wagers in excess of $12,000 combined this football season...I wouldn't say I play professional units by any means, but I would be a strong recreational gambler...I know guys that bet $1000 a game that can't handicap worth a shit, and guys that play $20 a game that are excellent...it's obvious there are a lot here that have to learn about being a true handicapper, I don't blame your ignorance...you are welcome to join in the challenge Maganavox and get your ass kicked...as well as tacomax...it will be fun beating all of you...

right now I am hitting around 61% in college hoops...I hit 58% in college football...I post my picks every week, it's all documented...say what you want, I get results...

I will be happy to accept this challenge, but no one-sided challenges where you do no work dickdock...let me know gentlemen...

    Pags

I'm not trying to play with the result being me changing my avatar LMAO. I'm not 12 years old. I'm interested in betting for money and it wont be for less than $3k.

This isnt one sided. All you have to do is hit 53% which is just a touch better than breakeven. I never claimed to be a handicapper. You did. This is your chance to shine.

This should be no problem for you. Dont take it personally, just accept my offer.

    Or not.

    Your (non)action speaks volumes.

I really don't get it....Pags is one of the best NCAAF and NCAAB cappers around in the entire gaming forum scene

Second, I really don't understand what Pags has done to anyone....he is the nicest guy in the entire gaming forum scene...I've gone to him for help on several occasions and never once has he let me down. He never starts shit with anyone but lately he has been taking a beating from some suspect/trouble posters on here...all the guy does is pick winners and is friendly with everyone...maybe this is just the nature of the gaming forum scene where everyone gets called out sooner or later but man I can't ever recall a post where Pags might have offended someone....weird stuff on here.

He never offended me. He made an outrageous claim stating that on "some" cfb games the hook on the 7 isnt worth 5c. I called him out on it and was willing to make a bet with all terms set forth by him, ie, he could choose which games the 7 was worth less than 5c and which were more. He declined.

He said he was a handicapper and wasnt interested in that challenge.

    Fine.

All I did now was propose a challenge asking him what winrate he thinks he can achieve going forward against one set of lines. I proposed 53.3% to Raiders which would be perfectly acceptable and would illustrate that one could do slightly better than breakeven against -110 lines.

I dont really care what pags has done. Its irreleavnt. I'm saying he wont hit at a better than breakeven rate going forward and I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is.

    I dont think he is.

He's taking this personally instead of jumping at the opportunity to take my money with his handicapping prowess. Its pretty cut and dry.

By declining the offer he's saying that he doesnt believe he can hit at a bit better than breakeven. Period.

I'm done wasting time on this anymore.

    This is retarded.

I took some psych classes in college, and in my opinion dickdock somehow feels threatened by pags, or he has a teenie weenie pennie and has to prove his manliness by insulting people and flashing his money around.

Why don't you concentrate on beating the books not Pags? Are the books no longer a challenge for you or something?

Pags is a cool shit, leave him alone felcher.

Doc- You have some touchy little fellas around here. All you did is offer a challenge and guys go crazy.

I put up an offer, you countered and I passed. It should be as simple as that.

You don't think Pags can pick 53.3%, raiders? Is 53.3% really that tough? I'm just trying to educate myself here.

It was by all means a fair challenge, just to break even. Considering that pags brags about hitting around 60% I really cannot understand why he threw away $3k. It's the equivalent of three successful football seasons with his beloved CAPPING.
