It can be done, but if you are found to be circumventing the ban, your funds can be confiscated, no questions asked. Not worth the risk, IMO.

Actually this brings up a legal question I'm not sure of, perhaps someone knows. Legally speaking, is it illegal for Pinny to service US citizens anywhere in the world, even if they are outside the US? If you tell Pinny "yes I'm a US citizen, but I live outside the states", are they still obligated to turn you down?

For that matter, is it legal to use a US bank to move money back and forth with Pinny, if you are not actually betting in the states, and if Pinny isn't actually breaking US law?

Is it illegal for a US citizen to bet with Pinny anywhere in the world, just because they are a US citizen?

You're under the jurisdiction of the country you're physically located in. The US couldn't prosecute you if you were out of the country (nowhere would extradite, and I doubt the US would even try). If you went back to the US, well who knows, but I would doubt it. They couldn't prosecute you if you walked into a betting shop in the UK or Australia, and it's the same principle.

They will not send money to the US, regardless of where you live.

They will allow US citizens to open accounts provided they live (and bank) outside the US.

This is their exact requirement:

RESIDENCY CONFIRMATION FORM
Pinnacle Sports require customers to complete this form if:
• You have changed your country of residence in your Pinnacle Sports account, or
• You have opened a new account but have previously had a Pinnacle Sports account with a different
country of residence.
In order to confirm your new residency, you will be required to provide scanned copies of the following:
• Official proof of residence. Examples include a utility bill, a telephone bill, medical bill, property
receipt or government documentation.
• Official photo ID œ ideally a passport or driving license.
• Completed Residency Confirmation Form (below).
For documents to be valid they must be dated within one year and the name and address on all documents
should correspond to the exact name and address in your Pinnacle Sports acount.

I know of a couple of cases where careless americans have gotten re-booted but the money has been returned, I never heard of Pinnacle confiscating money for this. Pinnacle is not in the habit of confiscation, even if you don't know what you are doing and are stupid enough to get caught they are still fair about it.

If pinny boots you it will send the money to the address on record. So if you know where it's going great. I'm not aware of anyone not being paid, but it may have happened.

I have not had any issues using pinny while in the US but for the 2 or 3 weeks a year I'm there I'm sure they ignore it.

Pinnacle will NOT "confiscate" money. I spoke with their CFO and asked him point-blank what would happen if a US player bet from a US IP address. "Our software will catch them, we'll close their account and return their money."

Well I searched through the forums and read the responses, so far looks like it wont be worth the effort/risk. I have never had an account there, so I would have to worry about changing an address, but I'll have to keep reading to be sure it isnt something I want to pursue.
