Default Does BetJamica's rating go down after yesterday's disaster

Anyone have a take on this...I have a hard time believing that SBR will contine to give betjm an A+ rating after year's events with Betjm being down on the biggest betting day of the year.

Moreover, SBR uses four primary categories for rating that includes software and judging by yesterday it would seem betjm gets an F for that. Thus if SBR does not want to appear like hypocrites they should take action.

Consider that SBRJohn indicated that Cascade's B+ rating is mainly a function of their software issues...one would expect betjm to be rated down as a result.

Also...an A+ means perfection, no mistakes, flawless, without error, etc...Hard to give betjm such a distinction.

Be curious to hear what others think about this.....

i have used Bet Jamaica for quite some time. Always been paid without stall.
They take the action and they pay so I give them an A for that.

Personally I couldn't give a shit. If SBR decide to mark them down then good, if they decide not to mark them down then good also. Although unfortunate for BetJam, I hardly think that an outage for a few hours (although admittedlty on an important day) is worthy of a downgrade. Continued regular outages, stiffs and slowpays most definately are.

Nice to known that people here are increasingly happy to criticise SBR's business but seem happy to let the shills run riot on the forums, though.

Taco...the idea here is that SBR has a consistent model for how they rate books and that they adhere to that. A software outage on the most important day of betting in the year should raise some eyebrows.

Personally....i will play with betjm as long as they are around...i have no reason not to play with them...they are an A+ book in my opinin but if SBR uses a software evaluation rating then they need to apply it....

It just shouldn't apply to some books... and not all.

It does apply only to some, take Royal for example. But I guess that's life: if you're poor, you get poorer -- rich get richer.

Raise eyebrows, yes. Adding them to the blacklist, no.

I haven't played at BetJam for a while so I can't comment on their recent performance. However, I don't think that any book should be penalised for a single "mistake" whatever day of the year it was.

Was this an isolated incident that just happened to occur on Superbowl day? What steps will be taken to ensure this won't happen again? What contingency plans can be put in place that, if this does happen again, it won't affect the service to the customer?

Personally, I don't know. But those are the real questions that need answering.

IMO, no. Not for one isolated incident. It would never even have crossed my mind.

Having said that, I find that A+ is too high a rating for Betjam just based on what they offer - no way are they in the same league as Pinnacle and therefore they shouldn't have an equal rating - but that has nothing to do with what happened yesterday.

Should we wait for more information? What does BetJamaica have to say? Don't jump the gun here, guys. At the very least, I'd like to get an official statement from BetJamaica.

ROFLoL... my pick for the funniest post of the week... actually the funniest part is I had to read it like three times to verify if my guess at it being sarcism was correct... which actually just makes it funnier considering I'm still only 92% sure... anyhow thanks for making my daily forum reading a little brighter...

Am I missing something LVhervie....I think that is a very fair proposition...i would be very interested to hear what betjm has to say about this. It is still a top tier book but I am just wondering if yesterday's episode means they are still considered an A+

I say this should definitely be taken into consideration...they are already a full juice book, definitely in the A category, but not A+...especially after having their site down during the biggest betting day of the entire year...
