Question Was there a single moment that changed your life?

.....whether for the good or bad?

Yes.....Sitting at my teacher's desk a few years back and looking out at a classroom full of loud, annoying and disruptive teenagers in my Grade 7 class. Actually, to be fair, the vast majority of them were great kids, very pleasant.

Anyway, already growing tired of teaching after 15 years and starting to hate my job (Never a good sign), I decided quite suddenly at that precise moment that I was going to make a plan to get out of the profession.

Now I've been out 2 years and am much better off for it, in a multitude of ways.....

I teach now in the afternoons. And I love it.

    What do you do now?

Yeah, I loved it too for a while Madcap, but having a family of teachers (Not to mention the wife), there's only so much bombardment you can take!

Now I just scalp, look for arbs, do back and lays on simultaneous events at Betfair, and throw in an good ol' fashioned bet from time to time.

Basically, I just line hunt, and wouldn't want to be doing anything else (Apart from Alyssa Milano).....

My first day working for SBR was very profound. I broke John's laptop and they didn't fire me

Seriously, losing two of my best friends, including the closet thing I had to a 'big brother' about a year apart in the mid-90s affected me both good and bad. The bad is obvious; you don't replace lifelong friends. The good is once I got past the sad bits, I finally wised up and quit taking a lot of things, especially people, for granted.
