Ft. Lauderdale kicked out all of the spring breakers in the late '80's. I know because I grew up there. I think they go to mexico, or Panama Fl. now. Really how would I know, I'm ancient and a spring break to me is falling out of the hot tub at my house.

I got spring break in 2.5 weeks..Tryin to get some wins here so I can get to Vegas for that March Madness!!!! Gotta balance boozin and bettin though.. Never done the whole crazy Fla thing, Our break is always about 2-3 weeks after most schools which sucks..

Spring Break at the worst hotel on the strip (Tropic Cay) in 2001. What a sweet time it was. 3 story beer bongs, jokers jumping off the roof of the Tiki Bar into the pool, multiple kegs/luggage carts/chairs/etc floating in the pool each morning, a robbery of the front desk, a flood of the entire first story, and it goes on & on.
Enjoy your time in Lauderdale...I wouldn't want to go anywhere else
