Exactly. That's what's so great about Bush and Rove and Cheney, they love freedom, for themselves and for us. They care about freedom, as an idea, and for all Americans, and they're willing to do what they have to in order to protect it for us. And they also aren't interested in taking money out of our pockets for their own benefit or anyone else's. They understand that the money we earn belongs to US, not to the government.
This is about freedom, freedom to keep our own money, freedom to own a gun, freedom to gamble, freedom to be a Christian, freedom to not have the government in your business unless you are an enemy combatant. My main issue with Republicans is they somehow have everybody thinking that they are somhow more patriotic and moral then the Democrats. This gets them all the votes in the South apparently.

Your right, when I was in grammer school 35 years ago, there might be one overweight kid in a class of 30. Now I see these kids at the bus stops and 50% of them are overweight, and arent going to do anything but get bigger as they get older.

This is a joke, right? The Republicans talk about freedom, but the first chance they get, they take it away. The Republicans were and are the driving force behind anti-internet gambling legislation.
The Patriot Act is not about freedom, it takes away freedom. It is one furtehr step against the fourth amendment and your right to privacy.
As for taxes, I believe the government should get out of our wallets. But what has Bush done? Has he lowered taxes to where they were before Clinton jacked them up? No. Has he lowered taxes to where they were when his father jacked them up? No. Marginal rates are still higher than they were under Bush I and Clinton. So he lowered them a little, big deal!
It was also the Republican's freedom loving FCC that imposed ridicuous fines on CBS and their affiliates because they showed a nipple for a few seconds. That same freedom loving FCC that drove Stern to satellite. So much for freedom of speech.
And not that it matters, he did go to an Ivy League college called Yale University. He then got his MBA at another one called Harvard University.
