He'll stay with the Pats. I suspect they've already mapped out a deal which hasn't been finalized or enforced because players are allowed to extend or restructure existing contracts only once in a league year. The league year ends Thursday - i would expect an announcement from the Pats then.

The Patriots and Randy Moss really aren't close to a new contract, although the Pats believe Moss will give them the option to match whatever deal he does receive on the open market. That makes sense because the clubs pursuing Moss will be limited because he wants to play for a contender. The most interesting rumor is Moss joining the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys can pay up, and wouldn't T.O. and Moss be interesting to watch, not to mention impossible to defend?

If I gambled, I'd say he stays with the Pats, but, hey, I'm just a girl who loves sports. What do I know.

Wouldn't be suprised to see him end up in Green Bay. Favre wanted him badly when he was still with the Raiders. If they had Moss this last post season, they would have beaten the Giants. Moss/Driver=nice combo. It also gives them someone to counter Dallas' TO.

I may be small, but I think I can take you.
You mess with a lifetime of love for the black and gold "The Mo" and I'm gonna have to take you down.

Excuse me, but even non-Pittsburgh fans will say that the Rooney family is one of the finest ownerships in the NFL.
And, with 5 Lombardi's, I think their status as a winning franchaise is cemented.
i'll go to the Steelers bar by your house and you can stay home - mostly because you'll be in pain

So, I go down with the company you keep? Not fair. The Steelers don't stink, but sometimes people do.

haha na i still love that girl as a friend. that story happened well before i met her, i was just thinking it was probably a steelers thing. Cant be upset with a girl because her team leads her into the arms of a strange man or 6.

Bears need a WR and they have the cap room If they get moss, and draft alot of OL this year, they would actually be in good shape. You don't have to be accurate to throw a jump ball to Moss.

They aren't kidding when they say that for as good as you look, you are equally as smart. This is exactly what is going to happen.
As for some of the Pittsburgh bashing, they don't suck. Pittsburgh is also my wife life long team and this year they will be better than last year. A decent amount of last years problems came from the rookie coach doing rookie things. Rooneys keep coaches a long time so the new guy won't get fired and I expect the defense will be much improved next season.

Thanks for noticing.
RW moves into first place on my favorites list
And I think your assessment of the Steelers is right on point.
