Default OT: Women dies at 30k ft after requesting oxygen

Initial reports indicate first and second requests for oxygen were denied. The flight attendant only attempted to administer oxygen after passangers become aggitated. I say attempted as news reports indicate two of the bottles they tried to use, appear to have been dry/faulty. Women begged "please do not to let me die... " Defibilator didn't work either... This could have been due to her heart already being stopped, but again thats unknown.

The women was a hatian registered/licensed nurse. Had seen her doctor 2 weeks prior and supposively had a clean bill of health.

Keep in mind these are initial reports, this investigation is still ongoing... But in the meantime. Thanks for flying American Airlines...

Oh man I saw this headline on AOL news said something like "woman dies on airplane, airline says otherwise"

Man that is just so sad.

The sad part is they refused her request twice, she's a registered nurse and was having a medical problem. My other problem is the two oxygen tanks were bone dry from what the doctor on flight (traveling passenger) and other passengers revealed. They brought two tanks out and they didn't work or worked with minimal effectivness.

All I have to say is if I would have been on that flight seen that happend I would have called ever single member of the crew a murder and called the police as soon as we landed.

But the statement that the tanks were dry came from her family. I do believe the airline says otherwise. No liability has been assessed at this point. The matter is still under investigation. They also had medical personel on the flight.
