Thats exactly what I was thinking too. Detroit looked solid against Phoenix. They looked untouchable.

A year ago Detroit blew out Phoenix on the road as well (105-83), only to lose the next game at home to Dallas. They played with playoff intensity yesterday and will almost certainly not maintain that type of focus tonight.

If anything, I'd say this line's short. Denver's 22-6 SU at home, and they have only once had shorter odds on their home court than tonight's -2 (pk last week against the Celtics).

Well I'm on Denver. It's true Detroit has the "elite" team spirit inside of them, which leaves them shockingly immune at times to all kinds of conventional wisdom regarding back-to-backs, big road faves, etc etc, and it's always treacherous to bet on them to lose a game outright, but I think they might have a tough time here. If they dominate, then that's that, but I'm willing to take a standard shot with them on the large side here. GL everyone.

No trick here, I think Denver should be favored by 3. They suck on the road, but responds well to the home crowd. The nuggets can be down 10 points or more all day and still pull out a victory at home. Seen them do it numerous of times already, so go nuggets!
