Default A general misconception about betting limits

A lot of people are under the impression that a betting limit is the maximum amount of money you are allowed to bet on any given play.

This is not true.

A betting limit is the maximum amount of money you are allowed to bet on any given pointspread. Once you have invested that limit, you would then need to wait until the line is adjusted and then you can invest again up to the betting limit on the new pointspread and repeat the process as many times as you wish.

I am not saying that my bankroll has reached the stage I can afford to do that
