Can't put UNC over Duke considering the Blue Devils handled them at their house of all things.

    1. North Carolina - Lawson back for stretch run
    2. Texas - Yes I have them high, but I like them right now
    3. Tennessee - How DID they lose at Kentucky?
    4. Louisville - Same comment as Texas
    5a. Duke
5b. Kansas - Two teams that could win it all, but are losing games they are not supposed to lose
    7. UCLA - I'm not a Pac-10 fan this year, but they are best of the lot by far
    8. Memphis - CLANK! Tigers must have just shot a free throw!

That was UNC's first game without Lawson, and it showed. UNC returns the favor at Duke next time.

Best Duke could ever hope for is Elite 8, Of course they will probaly get over seeded as always and given a cake walk to the sweet 16. Ill tell you what If a team wins the Big East regular season and the conference tournament, that team should get an auto #1. These other conferences don't bring it like the teams in the Big East do, top to bottom

    See my #4.

Theoreically, that would make them a one seed, but I'm sure the committee will give that spot to UCLA if they win out. If so, I hope to see a Louisville/UCLA matchup down the line.

    Top 7 teams:

    1. Kansas- I don't care that they have a few losses, they play very good defense and can score in transition and in a half court game.

    2. UCLA- They are going to be a tough out in March. They give up VERY few easy baskets and have a lot of talent.

    3. North Carolina- They need Lawson healthy but with them only Kansas is as scary.

    4. Memphis- Yeah, they lost yesterday. They are still a tough team.

    5. Duke- They can shoot any other team out of the tournament. They can also go cold and not get the calls (check out their free throw differential) and lose in the second round.

    6. Tennessee- Would you take them ahead of any of the above teams on a neutral court?

    7. Louisville- The only Big East team that has a realistic title shot.

    imgv,

Pac-10 is grossly overrated. Yes, UCLA is best team in conference by a wide margin, but I doubt they make Final Four without a very favorable seeding, which the committee just may try and give them to get them there.

imgv: Thanks, we'll see how accurate it is over the next 6 weeks.

LT: Well, the pac 10 will get plenty of teams in the NCAA tournament. If they are overrated you will have some money making opportunities in March.

As for UCLA they have plenty of good road wins inside their conference. Outside of their conference they have some nice neutral court wins over Maryland and Michigan St.

agree with most of this but not with Louisville being the only team in the Big East with a realistic shot. Georgetown definitely has a shot. With their size, and athletes they have a great shot. They are a team that is built for the tournament. They are good defensively and can score in the half court and get their offense running inside and out.

idiotic statement.. Washington is the 9th best team in the conference and even they are pretty good.

USC is the 5th best team in the conference and their resume includes wins over UCLA So.Ill (BLOWOUT), losing in O.T to Memphis on the road and barely losing to Kansas..

    UCLA
    Stanford
    Washington St
    Arizona
    USC
    California
    Arizona St
    Oregon

All very good teams.. Jesus Christ you are wrong..

Tennesse won @ Memphis so of course I'd take them on a neutral court. I would also take them against Duke.

I agree that the Pac-10 will get more teams in than they should, and yes I see that as a positive from a betting standpoint.

Also, I wouldn't call UCLA's conference road wins that good because I think the conference is mediocre. As for non-conference, they beat Maryland when Maryland wasn't playing well (remember Terps lost to AMERICAN at home soon after that game) and Michigan State is turning out to be overrated too. Most importantly, they failed their biggest test at home vs. Texas.
