Default Thing you hate most about sports betting (other than losing)

Obviously losing is terrible, and if it isn't the #1 most hated thing on you're list, well, I envy you.

I would say that I hate betting on one team and then against them the next night, or even in the next half - especially when you're watching the game.

It sucks rooting for guys, gaining an affinity for them + their team, and then absolutely despising them the next day.

too many directions you could go with the answers here. i can't stand walks in baseball, missed fts in basketball, and any time an official even considers making a call thats not in my favor, i lose it.

Would have to be late meaningless fouls or meaningless baskets to get the cover. Feels like a kick in the balls anytime either happens no matter how much I have on the game.

    The ol' backdoor cover.

    oh yeah good call 2pac

although it is funny how so upsetting and frusterating and you get upset with players when they do it and your on losing side but when you win it shhhhhh haha

actually it doesnt make sense no matter what like Diogee said whether you have money or not, makes you wonder where the players heads are at times...

The part when you lose, even if it's a blow out. EX:

    Over/Under at 200

The scoree is at 199 with 4 minutes left in the 4th Q

    And someone makes a layup

    and you have the under

In basketball, when a team is behind by 14 or more with a few seconds to go and they keep fouling with no chance to win the game.

Before i got into betting all the time it seems like i enjoyed just watching the games for the sport, not stressing about the side or the total

For me beting on games has made it hard to be a fan. Generally I dont be on my favorite teams because I dont have the ability to be objective. Its tough to bet against your team. From a fan standpoint its tough to just watch your team when you have action on other games

i live on the west coast. the east coast nba and mlb games start at 4 oclock out here. i have a job that allows me to come home when i am finished rather than at a particular time. so often i get a little anxiety during the day because i would like to get home by 3:30 because it's easier to pick winners from a full slate. then, if i take some of the early game action , i can end up following the scores a bit longer than i should, instead of getting outside and doing something else productive. i tried that satellite radio a couple of years ago so that i could get out and follow the games but it doesnt work here unless i am in the middle of the park, so i gave up on that. the other general complaint i have is the seemingly increasing length of the games.

Bingo. Betting has ruined sports for me. I used to be able to watch any game just because I loved sports. Now I can't watch a damn thing (except for ND and the Reds) without having money on it.

In football when a team needs another score for the cover and are inside the opponets 5 and they choose to take a knee to kill the final 2 minutes.

Mo, I'll see your missed ft's and raise you offensive rebounds off a missed ft!

touche. those make me want to kill someone. idk, missing the front end of a one and one is pretty bad too.

While losing sucks on an individual game it is possible to happen even if you capped the game correctly. What I hate worse is listening to the whiners/crybaby's about how it's fixed, players weren't trying, ref's are paid off whatever after they lose. Grow up, you lost on to the next game. If you think you can win them all please give me the shrooms your taking as they must be good.

In football when you need a small unlikely miracle to cover and then the other team marches down the field and scores anwyays.

When and under play is destroyed by halftime.

when a player you already hate screws something up and costs you a win...

Exactly the reason why 90% of my bets are of the ML variety. Lost too many games off B.S meaningless crap.

I hate the outrageous withdrawal fees especially when I have to cash twice in the same week.
