Default No Country For Old Men.. (SPOILER WARNING)

Movie was great until the ending. Jesus Christ what a horrible ending.. Made me give the movie a lower rating.

Still a great movie, but the ending annoyed me more than anything I can remember.

shop around if its tudou. you are looking for divx quality but the others will do, they are just slow to load. you have to start the movie and then hit pause. do something else for a few minutes and then come back to it. check your pms

Back to the topic at hand... I thought the ending was great and changing it would have destroyed it... You might give it another viewing... Coen brothers flicks are typically worth watching a couple times at the minium...

I read the book, Endings with the guy who wrote it are always different. Happy endings are not his style.

I like endings that are a little more open to interpretation. With this movie I wanted them to end it three times, but they kept adding on another scene or group of scenes.

By the way as with most movies, read the book instead, much better.

I love movies with sad endings. Also like endings with a different style but this ending left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I'll give it another chance and maybe I'll like it more the second time. Movie was definitely good enough to watch again..

Loved this movie. If you are familiar with the Coen brothers, the ending shouldn't come as a big surprise. They have been responsible for many WTF moments throughout their film making careers.

I have to get this one so I can compare it to the book. I heard they followed the book closely, but....

I just got done watching this movie... I loved the first half of the movie but I felt the 2nd half of the movie got way to slow and boring for me. Overall it was a decent movie. I think it is way overrated from what I have been hearing and reading from other people. Im not one to complain about endings to movies as I like different twists and things that keep you guessing but that was just a retarded ending

Are you guys kidding me? I loved the ending. Perfect closure to a movie that many thought was all about Moss and Anton and their violent cat and mouse adventure, while it was merely emphasizing what is breaking down inside of Ed Tom underneath the surface.

I'm assuming most who didn't like the ending would've been singing the praises in "Fight Club" fashion at the greatness of this film if Ed Tom walked outside and in the next shot, you see him morph into Anton. While contrived and cheap, this seems to be the stuff most of American film goers live for.

I'm the same way, usually when people complain about endings is when I like them. But the ending to this movie was just plain insulting in my opinion.

My rating for the movie went down a full point because of the retarded ending.

moses, stop assuming. I'm not your typical American movie-goer. Actually hate the taste this country has nowadays..

I was leary of this movie, mainly because I am not a huge fan of the directors..I never did like Fargo.

Overall, I was entertained and enjoyed it. But this movie provokes so many questions with its ambivalence, I think the directors leave many parts open to interpretation, where they may not even have clear answers.

Then ending was iffy, but I questioned some of the other scenes and character use in the movie...Rottentomatoes.com has some interesting discussions about this movie in their forum..

Loved this movie. And yes, the Coen brothers are infamous for extremely bizarre endings...which makes me like the movie all the more.

Actually, the typical American film enthusiast enjoys movies with a cheesy one liner (see all Die Hard movies) and anything with Will Smith.

They can keep their Will Smith movies. I'll take a thought provoking movie ANY day of the week.

    The Big Lebowski is great!

I haven't seen No Country For Old Men yet but heard the exact same thing. That it is very good until the end.

I thought this movie was odd in that, while well-acted, the pieces of it didn't add up to anything. At the end, I felt like I had seen all these events, but I didn't know why? It wasn't bad, it was just strange.
