This team is talented enough that you could coach them to a Sweet 16 birth bubba. Sampson has less to do with the team's success than the players simply playing to their capabilities.

If its proved that he cheated AGAIN, IU will have no choice. NCAA will not allow it. However they might be able to push it off till may and then let him go.

Because Indiana bailed him out and then does the same junk he did OU and lies about it to the administration. He ignored the sanctions he told Indiana he would follow. Not really that complicated.

I think the NBA might look at him, I dont think he is done........he can coach and the NBA does not have those stupid recruting rules...The question is if he lets his integrity go at the NCAA level will he do the same at the pros?????And will his players respect his team rules if they know that he does not really care about them

Yep, he's out of IU no question. The numb nut was caught making over 500 calls at OU and then gets caught again with over 50 at IU. I know most coaches probably don't follow this rule either, but when you have the NCAA watching over your back because of you already being caught, you think the guy would sit back and abide by the rules and collect his $500,000 bonus he was going to get next year. OOPS

And I know you didnt state it, but 2pac, man, IU is not a class institution. That school has enough issues without Sampson

He is gone...A lot of schools have infractions...This is his second time and though I dont know how this became such a big story (would we care if it was say Valpo or San Diego) once it does and it makes its way into people's regular conversations (like on this site) than there is no way to save him or his reputation....He will be gone in a week...no question..the public eye is TOO BIG...Start looking for somebody...

I'm not talking about Wash State I am talking about OU and IU the guy might be a great coach but he is also a cheater. and like they say...

once a cheater always a cheater. I wouldnt put it pass him he didnt do same thing at Wash State only difference is he didnt get caught. or maybe he was a good honest coach at that time but got corrupted who knows. bottom line is he cheated, got caught, then cheated again, and got caught again.

He is pretty stupid for being a great coach.

yeah he will prob get something, just not sure how soon till another college picks him up. I can see him as assitant in NBA or maybe coach at Div II just not sure how soon anotehr Division I is going to take chance with all his baggage.
