Ohh this is coming from a cavs fan. Sorry he left you guys. Hope you guys can break .500 this season. Whats the record for Wins from 1 season to wins from the next?

Cavs had how many wins last season? 60 something. do you think they get more than 30 next season?

how fukking hard is it for some to understand...

The best Clev. had wasnt going to cut it...lebron wants rings...so he left...
ny would probably be financially better in the long run, but no fukking chance of a ring...EVER
Miami would be financially better than clev. (unreal tax breaks. etc.) and they arent scared to spend money and build them a contender

crybabies in clev. need to stop with all the hate and bullshit and move on.

    two problems in cleveland

    1. they brought in shak and played him the other center zilkowskus (or whatever) was way better - he was death with the jumper from the elbow.

    2. the coach was no coach - seriously how did he even get that job to begin with, they were going to fire him before last season but lebron wanted him back.

lebron thinks he can load up a team and win a championship, maybe so - but i think the great champions have something lebron doesnt have and that is smarts, jordan, kobe, bird, magic, all the great champions in any sport are very intelligent i am not sure by watching him that lebron is.

It's more about how he handled the situation than him leaving.
One man team and the suggestion they win less than 30 without him and shaq, jamison and west for that matter is a joke.
They haven't been a 1 man team for a couple years. They were clear cut favorites to win the East the last 2 seasons and Lebron didn't get it done.
I would have had no problem with him leaving cleveland but the fact they all landed in Miami is ridiculous and couldnt be worse for the league. I'll be tuning in next June to the LA vs MIA final but until then the NBA is a waste of time.

Does the LeBron Brand take a hit if they don't win a title the next 2-3 years? I say yes.

Dumb fukk played his best years ever (won't be in Miami) in Cleveland and doesn't mention it once.

There will be a day when he will desire Cleveland's praise and it'll be too late.

Slowly tarnishing some great years in Cleveland. PR FAIL

If you read my post here during the playoffs, I was one of the first people saying Cleveland needed to move on without him and it was time for him to leave. I was done supporting him the minute he started tanking games. I've never seen a professional athlete do that, plus fake an injury. That's foul.

Yet you somehow feel that he's some Mythic God-like figure that imparted his blessing's on a fanbase and that fanbase should bow down and kiss his ring??? I'm wondering why you would stick up for the guy?

Can anyone add? The taxes in Ohio are 8.5% + more in certain parts of Cleveland proper. In Miami 0%.

That means at $15 million / year he saves about $1.3M. He probably makes $50M/year in endorsements. Thats another $4M saved per year.

I don't like the guy, but he went where he thought he had the best chance to win. There's nothing wrong with that. He gave Cleveland hope when they hadn't had it before. The only thing he should apologize for is the way he announced his decision.

Only about a $400,000 difference between CLE and MIA IN TAXES for his first year at least, is about a $1 Mil difference between NY and MIA. Lets keep in mind that his contract in CLE would have been worth a lot more as well. Not that big of a difference money-wise especially considering that he won't get as much endorsements in Wade County and his brand took a HUGE hit by him leaving...

I stick up for him because, HE single handed-ly brought cleveland worldwide recognition. He brought the city of Cleveland a SHIT load of money, and He was the franchise. Now cleveland will sink back down to where they were before Lebron showed up.

You can say he was tanking games, anyone can say he was, anyone can say he "faked" an injury. But why would he be tanking games if they were up 2-1 in the Boston series? They had the perfect opportunity to beat them and move on to play the Magic?
