Antonio Davis wife was charged with road rage

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) - The wife of New York Knicks forward Antonio Davis has been charged with misdemeanor battery after authorities say she threw a cup of coffee at another woman.

Just last month, Kendra Davis had a verbal altercation with a fan at a Knicks-Bulls game at the United Center. That prompted her husband to run into the stands to check on the situation. He received a five-game suspension.

Police say a Minooka woman claims that Davis — who lives in Naperville — ran a stop sign last October. That woman contends she later confronted Davis, who threw a cup of coffee through the driver's side window.

Police say Davis told officers she threw the coffee because the woman used a racial slur. The other woman denies that

i don't know if that other person really truely used a racial slur or not. she claims she didn't. but, thats still no reason to throw coffee.

Oh please! No woman got out of a car and went over to another woman and called her a racial slur. It's just very convenient to pull out the race card when there's no way to prove what was said. What can be proven is that Nutcase Davis threw coffee on someone, and just because someone calls you an offensive name it gives you no right to react by lobbing liquid on them. Antonio needs to rein his wife in because she's starting to make Shitney Houston look like Mother Theresa.

It really doesn't matter if she was called a name. She's still the one who got charged in this because her idiotic action was verifiable. She thinks because she is a NBA star's (I use that term loosely when speaking of Antonio Davis) wife that she can get away with things that others can't. Sorry hun, time to pay up.

Yeah, I have to go a long way to visualize a scenario where a woman in Naperville would get out of her car and go over to a stranger to call her a racial slur, but based on Kendra's recent transgressions I can certainly see her throwing coffee on someone who she feels has "wronged" her.
