Reminder - We got a early game on Monday, a 4PM ET start.
The Georgetown at Providence game is a 4PM ET/1PM PT start on Monday. Just a heads up in case you didn't know or forgot about the start time.

2:45 p.m English Championship
Crystal Palace v Bristol City
Palace haven't won in 4 games but I strongly fancy them to get at least a point here so take the + .5 and put a small wager on the ML + 266.
Crystal Palace + .5 - 121

A lot of schools have classes in session tomorrow, despite the holiday.

only 3 of their 12 losses were within 5 points...id rather depend on gtown's d to cover than taking points for a team that either gets beat bad or wins big...

If that's the case then that kind of weakens the home court advantage of the Friars..... Am I right?

not necessarily...im not too sure how their home attendance is buuut if they have a solid student body im sure they would skip lectures to attend such a big game. id also check to see if they have tomorrow off as a holiday...some schools have weird spring schedules...

A lot of schools have classes tomorrow, but you can bet that Providence and G'Town don't.
They would never schedule an early game if those 2 institutions had classes in session.
The students will be out at Providence, BUT, will the general public?

doesn't matter Gtown should come focused and win...I just can't see them losing and have a streak of losing 3 of 4 and to an average Providence team...their defense will shut Prov down...

It looks like you picked a bad day to ask me because I am passing in NHL today.
I only made the post in this thread to make people aware that there is early afternoon hockey. Just look for my plays in the hockey forum starting tomorrow, especially the Best Bets thread.

IMO I feel Georgetown is going to come out tonight with fire in hands, shoot it out and load up on defense to how they were the previous games before the last few. Although its not always good to play fire, I think Georgetown can cover the -6

Last kick of the game - they didn't even get to re-start, denies me my small ML bet but i'll take the win.
Final score 1-1
