i wish i could get excited bout auto racing...i tried in 2002. i did some nascar fantasy sports. just cant get into it.

You have to go to a lot of races in order to get into it. My father loved it, and that's how I got into it. He started getting into open-wheel back in the 70s, then came over to NASCAR in the mid 80's. We've been to Daytona 4 times, Talladega twice, Dover, Pocono, Nazareth, and the Rock. Even went to Bertil-Roos racing school in PA, and I can't wait for August to go to Bristol for the first time. I tell everyone, it may be boring on TV, especially if you don't have a clue what's going on, but once you go to a few races, you'll be hooked. I am amped today! lol. Let's go Junior! Let's go Harvick!

I have been to Daytona. You can go from 30th to 1st in 5 laps. They are only apart 10-15 seconds.

I'm happy about that, hopefully it stays like this. Don't be suprised though if Gordon is like a snake in the grass come 5 to go if he's in the top 10. BTW, congrats on 1000.
