The former San Remo property has been "hooterized." Final touches are being put on the rooms, including bar tables and stools complete with bright orange lighting. From the casino floors to the rooms, this place is bound to be a hoot.

One of the unique things about this new resort is the fact that you can make reservations for the Hooters Hotel Casino in Las Vegas from any Hooters Restaurant. They have the Hooters Hotline; all you have to do is pick up the orange phone which will connect you directly to the Vegas resort.

"We're putting in a reservation terminal in each of the 400 restaurants domestically. You'll be able to pick up the orange hotline with a direct call right to Las Vegas and let us know you're coming and we'll book you a room," said Richard Langloix, Senior VP of Marketing.

The people behind the project spent 10 months turning the San Remo into Hooters. It has its own look from the Hooters Cheer Team, known as the Hooters Girls, to the party pits and other hooterized games on the casino floor.

Making its Las Vegas debut is Dan Marino's Fine Foods and Spirits, named after the NFL Hall of Famer. The resort will also house the 24 hour restaurant The Dam Bar, named after the Valley's very own Hoover Dam. Dan Marino will be at the grand opening Thursday night at 9.

This isn't the first time this property has changed names. The property debuted as a Howard Johnson's back in 1974. Since then is has been Paradise Hotel & Casino, 20th Century Hotel & Casino, Treasury, Pacifica, Polynesian, The San Remo, and now Hooters.

Tom Leykis was talking about chicks at hooters today...said they don't necessarily look for chicks with big racks as they do hot chicks with perky boobs (even if they are small B cups)...I can handle that...
