last night i had the urge to lay money[uncontrolable],but CERTAINLY not more than usual.i have 11 bets riding today so far 6 are in, i am 5-0-1 w/5 to go.i would suggest using some form of structure in all aspects of laying money.money mngmt, betting structure,so on and so forth.

try the thinkers tank on how it might be possible to turn those destructive habits around

set a specific amount of money you want to risk losing every day. dont chase. make smart bets. dont rush.

Take about two days off, if possible, to clear your mind up. Betting while frustrating will only aggravate it when you lose even more, so just take a chill pill for a couple days or a week and you should be just fine.

Hi

After you lose have 6 beers and then do not bet for 2 days. Money management is the key to making money.

I learned by getting tired of feeling like crap after I chased. I got sick of seeing my poor money management skills ruining my gaming experience. Simply put I hit myself over the head enough times were I don't chase anymore. This might help, think of gambling as a marathon slow and steady. If you still continue your bad habit, quit gambling or you can get in over your head son. Oh yeah and something of what Big Guy said DONT EVER BET WHEN DRUNK!

Son seems like you have a gambling problem like most of us, it is hard to change. Happy Boy is one of the worst tilt bettors here. I would at least ask for help and see if that helps being more controlled as a bettor.

Theres a post here from yesterday about a guy losing over a million. There's some great advice in there about money management.

Dac I've been following your plays just recently but you seem to be in a rut. I had a very bad run in the NFL this year. As I posted in that thread, I set aside my total bank roll for the NFL before the season starts and once it's gone I wait until next season. Well I was busted in week 6. I was losing about 80% of the time (no shit) the worse in my lifetime. Ironically, I was winning in CFB 70% of the time. It doesn't take a rocket scientist for me to stop betting NFL and keep going with CFB. Overall I ended up winning big in the football season because I stopped playing where I was losing. I took some of my bowl winnings and made some NFL wins during the playoffs but I stayed pat for 10 weeks.
