Question What are the 2 most OVERRATED books that you've played at?

I'm talking about the books that people praise all day on these forums.

From your experiences, what are the 2 most overrated books?

I'm not saying the 2 books are bad.....but they can be overrated.

Lets hear it....

Cascade and Betmania. Both had respectable ratings at one time. Of the two, Cascade is the bigger disappointment by far.

#1) 5Dimes....win about three $500 bets in their reduced juice wagering and you're cut to $50

#2) Bodog....Genius marketers who appeal to the small time idiots. Late posted lines, low limits, dual lines, and slow payouts.

Internationally it would have been a tie between WillHill and Bet365 for me...win two tennis wagers for a dime and you're limits are cut to nothing at both these shops

Sucks about those limits being cut.

You mentioned one of my MOST OVERRATED books....BoDog!

If not for their awesome marketing this book would have been out of business years ago. Just not a good book.

They're an atrocious book in every single way, but you have to hand it to them in the sense that they marketed brilliantly to the average 18-25 year old idiot, and then targeted their betting patterns to juice them out even more on top of already late/bad lines with low limits. They had the recipe for an absolute cash cow despite poor customer service and slowpays...

I had a serious payout issue with them awhile back. I don't think they deserve an "A" rating. They do offer competitive prices on dogs, but the late lines are a pain in the ass.

Wagerweb was rated a B at one point when I was playing there. Nothing but problems. They operated like D joint. Probably still do.

BJam is a good book. Good customer service and very safe fast payouts. Lines are just average though.I usually find a better number at a few other places.I'd rather use Wagerstreet personally over them as they have have better software and dime lines on run lines and totals in baseball.

Anyone who says Bet Jamaica is overrated is wrong imo.

Fast easy no hassle payouts, great customer service, reliable, user friendly software. Plus scotty is a great GM.

No fukkin way is betjm overrated. A+ book if there ever was one.

BetJam is a decent book, but severely overrated. Customer service is decent, but the phone clerks are a little rude and uniformative at times, no overnight lines, and their numbers are always 1/2 point - 1 point off IMO. No moneylines for dogs over 14 points which is retarded. On top of that, there ml's on dogs are lower than most places. I rarely use my acct anymore. If a friend asks me to put in a wager or something for him, I'll put his $200 in there, so it don't affect my regular accts. Otherwise that acct has been $0 for a while. Never accept a bonus there either. Your money will be trapped. A couple positive things I must say though, is that they're excellent on payment delivery, and they run a lot of free contests on the top boards. B-B+.

Post ???

I've played on Bodog for years as well as virtually every other sportsbook online (at least the ones that weren't obvious scam sites set up by thieves simply to steal deposits) and I've never had a problem with slow payouts or bad customer service in fact the exact opposite, they have always given me a free West Un. payout within 24 hours of request every calendar month. Yes they have late lines that's b/c it is a recreational book not a Pinnacle sharphouse for 50k bettors, but for the avg player putting 50-100 on a game that's fine. Bet Jam IMO is questionable it wouldn't shock me if they stole my money any day now which is why I have trouble keeping money with the Jamaicans

BoDog is the unanimous one it seems.

But BetJamaica, although a good book, is very very overrated in my opinion.

When I get a little time I will post all my reasons. I'm sure many of you will agree.

Pinnacle:

Man these guys are arrogant fvcks!

Dealing with customer non service at Pinnacle is right up there on my list of least favourite thing to do.

e-mail only, I'll admit the response time is quick via email but trying to get something explained/resolved is a pain in the ass, really.

I'd much rather deal with Canbet.

Personally, Pinny doesn't even come close to Canbet for me.
