We have this guy where I live that has 2 or 3 little kiosks in shopping center parking lots that sells full size roses and carnations for $10 a dozen or 2 dozen for $15 plus tax.The guy makes a darn good living doing this even in a depressed area.He's got to have a regular supplier that would give the same bulk rate to anyone else where just about anyone who has the most meager of savings could get into business doing the same thing close to any shopping area.

The catch is that they are clones or whatever they call genetically duplicated flowers.I thought having flowers that all look exactly alike is a good thing as far as presentation goes?

So what's with the whole country being stupid enough to be talking all over on tv and radio yesterday that they got stuck paying $75 a dozen for roses?What is this,some suggested retail price inflated gameshow world where everyone walks in lockstep purchasing roses from FTD Florists?

Anyone else out there buy dirt cheap cloned roses where you saved a ton of money?

got this hookup in MIA UPS cargo and get free flowers coming from Colombia with 'accidental' crate damages, sometimes its the whole crate they disposed. by next morning we get those old cuban men that hang around the cafeterias all day drinking cuban coffe to sell a dozen for $10 bucks, cant beat Colombian grade for $10 bucks
